"Okay," Wolfgang said indifferently. He knew about Angel being a werewolf, he had been there the night she was Bitten, and still blamed himself for it. He wasn't scared, Gabriella had never attacked someone, she seemed under control. A pang of guilt rose to his stomach, he didn't like that his Angie was a werewolf, he still loved her, but he hated the pain and torture that it caused her. "That explains why you never go to breakfast, or lunch, or supper for that matter." Wolfgang added.

Gabriella shrugged, she usually went but just moved food around on her plate. It was disgusting to try to eat. "Yeah, I try to avoid eating if I can, it's not too pleasant," Gabriella replied, crinkling her nose. She hoped Wolfgang wouldn't ask about blood or anything.

"I can imagine," said Wolfgang. It must be really strange being a vampire. They were fascinating to Wolfgang, he had studied them extensively, and knew a lot, but not everything. "The digestive system shuts down for the most part, doesn't it?" said he.

Gabriella raised her eyebrows slightly. Wolfgang used such strange language when it came to talking about something related to Healing. "Yes," she replied slowly. "I can still eat, but not very much, and it tastes horrible." Wolfgang sounded very interested, and Gabriella imagined for a moment him asking her questions about being a vampire for hours. She wouldn't really mind.

"This is so interesting," Wolfgang said, sitting up a bit straighter. "The circulatory system ceases to function, which is why they're so could to the touch." He was stating these things as facts, not questions. "Is it true that your wounds will mend themselves?" he asked.

Gabriella nodded. She hadn't actually been injured a whole lot since she had become a vampire, but just the other day she had seen Isaac's lip heal itself after he bit into it. "The speed depends on the type of wound," she replied. "If another vampire is trying to kill you, the wound could take a little longer to heal."

"Because of the venom, each one is slightly different, so the body will reject it, think of it as a poison. This is so fascinating, I never thought I would be able to discuss this with someone." Wolfgang said. This was getting so weird, but it was interesting him more. Never mind the fact it was well past three in the morning.

Gabriella nodded and checked her watch slowly. It was quite late, well make that early. "Aren't you tired?" she asked. She wasn't tired in the normal sense, she was a vampire, but surely Wolfgang would be. He wasn't a vampire after all.

Wolfgang shook his head. He was one of those "once I'm up, I'm up" kind of people. Sleep would be next to impossible if he tried to go to bed now. He would just be tired in the morning, that would be the end of it.

Gabriella nodded. "Alright then," she replied. "Well, fire away, I'm ready." Gabriella readjusted her position once more, then sat completely still as she waited for Wolfgang to say something. She was glad that he wasn't going back to sleep, she could use some company.

Wolfgang gave a small smile, he always fancied the idea of being a Healer. Ever since he was a tiny second year. It was amusing to look back upon those memories, they were great. "How dramatically do you feel your senses have changed after being Turned?" Wolfgang asked.

Gabriella barely prevented herself from laughing. That was a big question, every sense of hers was so much sharper than before. "Extremely dramatically," she said with the tiniest of chuckles. "I can hear whispers from the other side of the Quidditch field, smell individual hearts across classrooms, and see broomsticks way up in the clouds," she replied.

Wolfgang adjusted himself so he was sitting cross-legged in the chair. He placed his elbows on his knees, then rested his chin on his hands. "The textbook didn't describe it that manner... While many mental aspects sharpen some of them dull, taking the mind back to square one, making them driven by primal instincts for blood..." Wolfgang said, quoting directly from a chapter of a book. "Correct?"

Gabriella's eyes narrowed, she hated how the books described vampires. It was if they were animals. "At first, yes," she replied, keeping her calm. "But then you begin to be able to control yourself. It's still hard, sometimes."

Wolfgang was silent for a moment as he allowed himself to mull over Gabriella's response. It sounded to him as if he ere bothering her, he hoped that was not the case. Curiosity killed the cat. Wolfgang mentally told himself. "Am I bothering you?" Wolfgang asked.
