Jasmine laid her hand on Gabriella's fist, her warm hand clashing with Gabriella's cold one. She gripped Gabby's hand tightly. "Gabriella. If there's one thing I know you for, its for being honest. But, you are not a monster. Far from it." she replied calmly.

Gabriella was glad that Jasmine thought so, but she knew the opposite. She crushed things, and she secretly wanted to rip people's throats out and drink their blood. It seemed like a monster thing to do. "Thanks Jas," Gabriella said quietly.

Jasmine smiled, feeling satisfied. "Gabs, last thing. You are not a monster, maybe in your actions, but not inside. Inside your still my Gabs. Sweet, caring, smart, stubborn pigheaded Gabriella Weasley." she laughed, hugging her cousin tightly.

Gabriella laughed slightly. "Thanks Jasmine," she said, hugging her cousin in return. "You don't know how much that means." Gabriella let go of Jasmine and smiled at her. Suddenly it didn't matter that she was a vampire, it was part of her now.

Jasmine smiled. "You're welcome Gabs. What do you know? I was this first person to know about your Changing, and now I'm the first person to convince you that your not a monster. Weird..." she laughed.

Gabriella grinned, but memories flooded back to her. Jasmine hadn't been the exact first to know, that had been Angel, but Jasmine had found out two days later. So, Gabriella supposed it was close enough. It didn't matter anyway. "And I'm glad you did," she replied.

Jasmine smiled and hugged her cousin. "Not a problem cous." she replied. Jasmine stood up. "What do you wanna do now that all of this is solved?" she asked, helping Gabby to her feet.

Gabriella shrugged. What she really wanted was another firewhiskey, but that was pretty much out of the question with Jasmine around. "We could go into Hogsmeade and get a butterbeer and then go shopping," she suggested, her tone considerably lighter.

Jasmine smiled. "Of course. Hey, per chance, did you hear anything about the Tournament?" she asked. She didn't know if the contestants had been picked yet, and she was curious. "Where should we go shopping?" she asked. She wanted to know the answer to the previous question, but she was scared of the results.

"I don't know," Gabriella said in answer to the shopping question. "And yes I did hear about the tournament. I guess Wolfgang and Ryan are going to France, huh?" Gabriella asked, not knowing that Jasmine did not know yet.

Jasmine wasn't really listening. She didn't hear the names, so she figured Ryan wasn't apart of it. She nodded like she heard Gabby and then started to walk. "Butterbeer first?" she asked, looking over her shoulder at Gabby.

"Sure," Gabriella replied, a bit confused by Jasmine's lack of response to the part about the tournament. She had thought her cousin would have something more to say about Ryan getting chosen. Angel had certainly gotten all worked up about it.

Jasmine quickly Apparated to Hogsmede and walked inside the Three Broomsticks. She sat down at the booth closest to the door and ordered herself a butterbeer. She then patiently awaited Gabby's arrival, tapping her long tanned fingers on the table.
