Isaac walked down the empty corridor, it was almost curfew, not that he cared. He was looking for Alec Reece. He knew Gabriella didn't want it, but for what he did to her, that lousy jerk was going to get the crap beat out of him. Isaac would do it muggle-style too. He would do anything for Gabriella. Alec. Someone had tipped him off that Isaac was looking for him, ready for a fight or something. He knew that Isaac had been with Gabby before him, but didn't understand what he would want now. "Isaac," Alec said, nodding at him.

"Alec." Isaac responded, cool composure on the outside, but inside he was bubbling with anger. Alec was an awful little piece of scum. Isaac hated his guts. The subtle hint of this was the steeliness of his blue-gray eyes at the moment. Before even he knew what he was doing, Isaac slammed Alec against a wall, pinning him there. "You listen to this, Gabriella is the most amazing person I know and what you did to her makes me sick. It really does." Isaac said in a low voice, his tone now reflecting the anger within.

"Dude, get off," Alec said, using his air elemental to push Isaac off of him. "Maybe it was wrong, I don't care, but you have nothing to do with it, not anymore. And besides, I think little Gabby can fight her own battles. You should've seen her at the Three Broomsticks."

"This isn't about Gabriella fighting her own battles." Isaac snapped. "You hurt her, and now Mr. Reese, this has everything to do with me!" Out of sheer impulse Isaac drew his wand and shouted the first spell that came to mind. The word "STUPEFY" resonated in the stone halls. Hopefully he had hit Alec, he really needed to vent his anger.

Unfortunately for Isaac, Alec had dodged the spell with a small laugh. Isaac was so angry it was almost funny to watch. Alec wondered if this was what love was really like. He really seemed to love Gabriella. Alec was about to become invisible when...

Gabriella came running. She saw the two of them just as Isaac shot the spell. It was not supposed to be this way. Her head spun and she screamed. "NO!" she yelled, running forward as two heads turned to her.

Isaac instantly regretted what he had done. It was rude, impulsive. Gabriella was going to be angry with him... He had just gotten her back too. He shot the nastiest glare he possibly could muster in Alec's direction, then slid his wand back into his pocket.

Gabriella came up to them and stood directly inbetween the two boys. She looked at Isaac, who was glaring at Alec over her head. "I told you I could fight my own battles," she said quietly. Out of the corner of her eye, Gabriella saw Alec smirk. "What are you smiling about?" she said angrily, turning to him.

Isaac shrank back, Gabriella was scary when she was mad, she almost reminded him of his mother. He hated to admit that to himself, but it was true. Isaac waited, hands in his pockets, knowing that Gabriella would turn on him the second she had finished with Alec.
