Forsaken (Open)

Lily sat at the edge of the black lake. The sun was just rising and it was fozen solid. She reached into her book bag and pulled out a pair of muggle ice-skates. She smiled sligtly. Her bangs fell in her face. She tied it into a high pony tail. She kicked off her shoes and put on the ice-skates. She stood up and walked onto the ice. She closed her eyes and began to skate spinning and twirling. She prayed no one was watching

Secretly, Tokyo shared the same passion. She had quite a talent for it. For once, she had let heer hair down, it was black aand shiny, it came to the small of her back. She sat beside the lake and straped on her skates, then glided out onto the thick ice, she loved it, ice skating was like floating, maybe she'd try and land that new trick today... Tokyo didn't even notice the other girl.

Lly glided across the ice. She bent her knees slightly and lept into the air spinning as she landed. She kept spinning until she thought she would throw up. She sighed and absentmindedly skated back and forth ocassionly popping a trick, to lost in thought to notice the other girl

Tokyo picked up speed, then jumped, she turned around once, twice, three times and landed gracefully. It wasn't until then that she noticed the other girl, and that she was in her path. Tokyo stopped just in time.

Lily got sprayed in the face with ice shavings. She wiped her face and saw the other girl. She didnt know her but then again she didnt know half her family

"Sorry." Tokyo said softly. She didn't mean to, but that's what happened whenever she had to stop quickly.

"Perfectly ok, it happens" She shrugged and continued to skate

Tokyo nodded, then continued to skate. She moved quite gracefully, her small frame seemed to glid effortlessly across the ice... Tokyo leaned backward into a simple, graceful manuver.

Lily popped her headphones on. She clipped a muggle i-pod on her belt loop and began dancing as she skated. She didnt care that anyone was watcing

Tokyo continued her manuver for a bit, then straightened up. She lowered into a camel spin, only using one skate. Sure, it wasn't the "acceptable" form, but all Tokyo cared about was that she was having fun.

Lily read her mind and giggled. She continued to skate. She had never been to the other side of the black lake, now that it was completley frozen. Lily beagn slowly skating enjoying the feel into the distance.

Tokyo's eyes fell upon a dark patch of ice. "Stop!" Tokyo warned, hoping the girl would hear her and not stray onto the dark patch. That could mean thin ice, and the results of that most likely wouldn't be good.

Lily had fallen right before she had skated over the dark spot. All of a sudden tthe ice began to crack. She began crab walking backwards as fast as she could. A tentacle sot from the ice, th giant squid!

Tokyo shot fire at the tentacle. It coiled away. "Run!" Tokyo yelled, continuing her blasts of fire at the tentacle before it would grab the girl.

Lily stood up and began skating away as fast as she could. When she reached Tokyo she stopped. "We have to get off the ice" She said.
