Minnie didn't really notice. She was too busy thinking. Everything that she thought had gone forever was starting to repeat itself. The pain, the grief... everything.

Jasmine nipped at her hair and landed on her shoulder. stop it or I will bite you she projected

Minnie gave a slight smile at Jasmine. She wanted to be happy, she really did.... Still, it seemed impossible to be cheerful.

To prove she was telling the truth she gently pecked Minnies head.

"Hey!" Minnie grinned. She tried to be happy, she really did. But sometimes it just proved to be too much of a challenge.

Jasmine hopped off and transformed. "You dont have it that bad. You have real family, both of you. You have roofs over your heads over the summer. You have protection." said Jasmine defiently. "You have love" se said as she raisied her head.

[minnieweasley]

"I guess," Minnie responded, tears welling up in her eyes. "But, to tell you the truth, you don't have it that bad, either."

"I barely have any of those things" she said defiently. "You do and they are all right infront of you" she said. "And there is nothing to cry about" she said as she put an arm around Minnie's shoulders.

"You don't get it," Minnie said. "You have plenty of those things. You just don't understand you do."

"I dont need you worrieng about me. You saw how I could take care of myself. You need to worry about you" she said. Seh hated it when everybody tryed to make her feel better.

[minnieweasley]

Minnie shrugged. "Friends look out for each other." She turned towards Jasmine.

"Yes but street rats take time to adapt" she said simply. "We fend for our own " s he explained with a shrug.

[minnieweasley]

"You're not a street rat," Minnie stated, partly in shock that Jasmine would say such a thing.

"You saw my home" shruged Jasmine. "What would you call me then. That idiot Ice has an actual home and he is on illeagel drugs" she said.

[minnieweasley]

"But you have friends as good as family," Minnie explained. "You have friends that care about you and will defend and protect you. You have a home here, where it's safe and warm. Can't you see all of the good things you have in life? Sure, there's endless improvements that can be made, but that's the same with everyone. At least you get to come here. 'Cause those orphans you take care of - they have less than you do."
