Gage held his hands level with his chest, as if to say that he were innocent of a crime, though he smiled all the same. "Pardon me for being a gentleman," he said teasingly, lowering his hands, "the Shrieking Shack's always worth a visit, or Honeyduke's is probably still open, I could pop in and get us some sweets." There he was again, suggesting something to do with food. Gage was very much a typical teenage boy in that sense, he could eat like there was no tomorrow and still have room for dessert. He figured that he was active enough to balance that out, he was always practicing Quidditch, working out, or running, he could afford excessive calorie intake.

Nix smiled as gage listed options they could do and shook her own head as the odd little coffee shop she had seen other duos enter popped in to her mind. It wasn't the sort of thing she would ever normally think of so she shook her head again to try and clear it from her mind. With another flick of her tail she caught gages hand and chuckled to herself ,"I wouldn't mind a few sweets, but I'd have to do my cut little begging thing to get them and I don't want anyone seeing wolfy me beg really. I look like some puppy..." nix said as she fought back a laugh and looked up in the direction of the well known sweet shop

*hummmmmm...I wonder if that would ever work.....*chuckles* gage and nix...*

Gage smiled a bit, finding that he was liking hanging out with Nix, he wasn't exactly sure why they didn't spend more time together. Of course, he didn't usually just hang out with girls, unless he was in a group or taking just one of them on a date. "No big deal, I've still got some pocket money, I'll just pick up a few things," said Gage. Yes, it still was kind of odd at seventeen to still be getting an allowance, but he simply did not have the time for a job and his parents recognized that. "What do you want?" asked Gage, there was such a massive variety at the shop.

Nix smiled at the other gryffindor and then paused to think, honeydukes was more a place for impulse buying when you saw something you liked so nix had no idea what she wanted. She flicked her tail against gage's side once more ,"give me a moment" she said before turning back down the street and starting to run. She stopped outside matchsticks again and took a moment to admire her broom again before padding to the back door and pulling down a cloak that she always left hanging there. She looked around before closing her eyes and feeling her bones shift and her fur disappeared before she was human again and grabbed at the cloak to pull over herself. It was a warm and dark material that worked fine of things like this, coming to town and running in to a shop, she buttoned the clock up and then ran her fingers over it's peg and found her normal jeans and pulled those off and on herself. She wouldn't need anything else as no one would look at her like that but jeans kinda were needed

"All right," said Gage, and before the words were entirely out of his mouth Nix had gone. He wondered where she had gone off to, was she perhaps turning back to the human form that he knew? It would certainly be easier to talk to her if that was what she was doing. Perhaps she wanted to pick out her own sweets, Gage wouldn't blame her if that was what it was. Honeydukes was filled to the seams with all kinds of treats from normal and benign to possibly dangerous. Gage himself usually took a while picking out what he wanted in the shop. He liked all kinds of things, except those that fell under the category of "unusual tastes," things like cockroach cluster and blood-flavoured lollipops he would rather pass on.

Nix pulled her cloak tight to her as she shivered for a moment before walking out from behind the shop and over towards gage who was sitting waiting for her ,"you did remember to bring my wand didn't you" she said with a chuckle as she came up behind him. The ground was cold under her bare feet but she liked it, it reminded her of her days as a child in the forests, she had always liked that wild feeling she had when walking around bare foot. She nodded towards the sweet shop and then took a couple of steps backwards towards it with a smirk still on her face ,"come on, walk faster" she said with a smile. She was really beginning to enjoy this, she really had to start getting out more and talking to some humans from time to time as opposed to centaurs and other beasties from the forbidden forest

"Of course I did," said Gage, relieved to see Nix in her human form once again. It was so much easier to talk to her this way, instead of her having to come into physical contact with him every time she so much as wanted to say something. He reached deep into the enchanted pocket and drew out Nix's wand along with the rest of the stuff she had needed to get rid of when she transformed. "Here you are," said Gage, offering the bundle out to Nix. Gage followed alongside his friend, shaking his head lightly when she told him to walk faster. He began jogging, even showing off slightly by going around Nix in circles. "Fast enough for your liking?" Gage asked teasingly.

Nix took her wand and then her bundle of school clothes and rolled her eyes before flicking her wand over them, they shrunk each to the size of a doll and then she poked them in to the pocket of her combats with out trying to reveal that she had nothing below her cloak. she lifted her head to see gage circling her and she rolled her eyes before flicking her wand at the floor just in front of his feet and chuckling again ,"don't fall over now" she said with a smile as she quickly stepped out of his jogging circle and over towards the well known and warm looking sweet shop

Gage chuckled a bit, he always found it fun to spend time with Nix. She took his teasing as just that, playfulness between friends, nothing more. He supposed that he really was a playful person at heart, but Gage didn't see the harm in being able to enjoy having fun when the time was appropriate. "Me fall over?" said Gage in mock in-credulousness, smiling, "never!" He turned around, jogging backwards just in front of Nix until they reached the sweet shop. It was thankfully still open, as Gage found himself to actually be a bit hungry. He would pick up some heavier sweets, plus some sugar quills to help get him through his exams. "After you," said Gage, yanking open the door for Nix.

Nix tried not to laugh as gage held the door for her and considered curtsying but thought better of it what with her robe, so she stepped inside the shop and then was hit by the warm air and smell of sweets. She grinned as she walked to the middle of the room and then looked around before spotting some drooballs and chuckling and stepped over to the jar and taking a handful. "just some fizzing-wizbiez's and some chocolate frogs and then I should stop" she said softly to herself, knowing full well she wouldn't stop there because she did like sweets too much for her own good

"Ah, live a little," said Gage when Nix commented to herself that she would only be picking up some Fizzing Whizbees and Chocolate Frogs. Though if there was a magical candy that Gage wouldn't eat (other than the unusual tastes sweets) it would have to be Chocolate Frogs. The way that they behaved just like real frogs sort of creeped him out, he felt wrong just biting into one as it attempted to squirm and hop away from him. Gage began sifting through the shelves, picking up himself a box of sugar quills, it always made exams more tolerable when he had a couple of them to suck on. He also selected a box of the made-in-house peanut butter fudge that he was so fond of. They always made it just right, the perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate, without being made too sweet.

Nix rolled her eyes and reached out a hand and flicked the back of the head of her team mate before dodging behind a barrel of chocolate frogs to avoid a come back from him. She chuckled to herself before dipping a hand In the barrel and taking out about 7 frogs before seeing a large red box that read "brand new sweets! Cheap this week!". Nix raised an eyebrow before walking over to the offer box and Opening the front of it as it was made in to draws and she peaked in side to see what this new cheap sweet was. She didn't like all sweets as a rule but she also liked to try new things simply for the Taste of adventure she got from trying some thing she had never tried before

"Hey!" Gage said playfully after Nix had flicked the back of his head, though by the time he had turned around she had already gotten too far away for him to retaliate against her. Sometimes he felt that hanging out with Nix was like spending time with one of his guy friends, moments like that only proved this to him. They could playfully attack one another, and that was just fine with him. Deciding that his window had closed, Gage picked himself up some Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans before going to catch up with Nix. "What are you looking at?" inquired Gage, takinga look at th barrel of new sweets himself.

Nix heard gage come up behind her and she dipped a hand in to the barrel before taking out a red wrappered sweet and laughing as she saw what it was. "it's a broom, each colour wrapping must be a different type of broom and I'll bet they fly too" she said with a smile before she looked at the small broom in her hand and saw it was a firebolt so she put it back and picked a yellow broom and smiled ,"mine" she said as she read the words "lightning-bolt" on the back of the wrapper. She took a moment before shaking her head and admitting defeat then taking out 5 different coloured brooms and then turning to look for the fizzing-wizzbees so she wouldn't end up spending all her money in one go, she would atleast try to keep to what she had intended to buy in here

"That's interesting," said Gage, "as long as they don't do anything funny in your stomach, I hate it when they put out sweets that move around after you've eaten them." But he wasn't one to back down from trying something new, so he reached into the barrel and selected one at random, one in a green wrapper that the back proclaimed it was a Cleansweep 2000. It had taken him a moment to read the script, however, he had a hard enough time with standard textbook lettering, he didn't need fancy fonts making things even more difficult on him. "I think I'm set," said Gage, he had picked out enough to keep him entertained for a while. Especially with the Bertie Botts, he ate them one at a time, regardless of how odd their colour might be. Needless to say he had encountered many nasty flavours.
