Lucille burrowed her hands further into her pockets as they walked, still giving Logan the occasional sideways glance, she still wasn't quite sure what to make of him. He was definitely different from the others, another werewolf that had been born with it, no scars from a fateful bite. But even so she was lapsing into a very comfortable sort of feeling around him, nothing that she had ever experienced with a complete stranger before. It was definitely odd. Lucille typically liked to keep herself a comfortable distance from people, making her at times feel cold and aloof to people who didn't understand her. The fewer people she let get close to her, the less she would be hurt, and the lower the chances were that someone would find out her secret. Of course, Logan had found out in the course of a few minutes, perhaps it was that which made her inherently trust him, but something else was lingering there. Lucille was determined to find out what exactly that was. She wanted to spend time with him, as much as she could, get to the bottom of it. Though if she was really going to be honest with herself, she was more interested in spending time with him, she could listen to him talk for hours, and while she was interested in discovering what their connection was, she also wanted to get closer to him. They could talk over coffee, gradually transition to wine or brandy, shift things to the bedroom...
Lucille shoved these thoughts away, almost ashamed of having them. Almost, but not quite. It wasn't uncharacteristic of her to go to bed with relative strangers, but never with the idea of spending hours together first, getting drunk off one another's company. She just didn't get close to people in the way that she wanted to get close with Logan. She nodded as Logan spoke, it was true that things were a little better than they had been in the past, but it was a far cry from anything that she would call acceptable. It made her angry in a way, the only way for her to have a quality life would be to have to hide a very large part of who she was. It couldn't be spoken about, she couldn't complain, couldn't advocate for anyone who had it worse... It was a difficult position to be in, one toe over any of the hundreds of invisible lines of the pureblood, elitist society, would result in utter chaos. And so, out of a need to keep the peace, and fear of being thrown out entirely on her own with no resources, Lucille had kept quiet. Hid her research from her parents, never spoke up, stashed away the essays and letters she wrote in support of werewolves and other half-breeds alike instead of sending them to newspapers and magazines (where they would likely be rejected anyway)... "Fair enough," Lucille agreed, thinking back on her own experiences with her parents. She wondered whether their actions were done out of genuine shame, or rather out of love and wanting to give their only daughter the best life that they could provide. It was a question that Lucille often grappled with, she was never quite sure of the answer. She liked to think that it was out of love, however. If her parents hadn't loved her, wouldn't she have been out on the streets?
Yet again her new found companion took her by surprise. She allowed him to put his hand into her jacket pocket, pulling her hand out and cradle it between his own. Lucille felt her cheeks warm in surprise, though her dark complexion thankfully hid most of the evidence. She did, however, return the grasp, feeling and seeing the sharp contrast between them. While they were similar in size, everything about them was dramatically different. His hands were larger than hers, pale while hers were ebony. His were rough and callused from a life of work and difficulty, hers were soft from a lifetime of leisure and a recent manicure. His, impossibly warm, while hers were cold as ice. She could feel something practically surge on the air between them, but what "it" was, she had no idea. All she knew was that she liked it. A flicker of a smile played at her lips for a few minutes before fading away in favour of her typical neutral expression. She looked up at him, meeting his gaze with her inquisitive eyes. "Did you want to go for a coffee?" Lucille offered, eager both to spend more time with Logan, and to get someplace out of the cold.

Logan felt comfortable around Lucille, a fair amount of it was due to the fact that she was a werewolf like he was. One that was born no less, but there was something else that made him feel comfortable around her but he was doing his best to deny that feeling. That was for a few reasons of why that was, not that their lives were so different or anything like that but there were other reasons of why. As he kept glancing at her and walking down the path that they were on that Logan had got more comfortable around her. During the walking that he had wondered of what she was like in the bedroom, but he had pushed those thoughts away for he knew better than to think that. Besides there was a chance that Lucille may not even want to do that with him for all he knows, he wasn't going to force himself upon her. That was the last thing he wanted or would do to her, he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable since he wanted to get to know her better. He gathered a far amount of her just from looking at her well as the smell coming from her of which told him that she was a werewolf. Just that first glance at her had told Logan plenty of Lucille, more than her first glance at him.
But he wanted to know more than just what her lifestyle was like and that she was a werewolf. He wanted to know some of the little details like what her favorite color was, what house she was in when she went to Hogwarts or if she had went to Hogwarts at all. Considering the fact that she has an English accent that he figured that she had went to Hogwarts. For all he knows she could have been in any of the houses but he didn't know what her personality was like or which house she wanted to be in when she got to Hogwarts. He was sure Lucille wanted know him as well, considering that she didn't have his heighten senses that she may not gathered of him as he had done with her. Not that she could pick up much more than what she could see expect for maybe the smell of a werewolf. Logan had merely nodded when Lucille had said fair enough when he comment that there was some better standings for the halfbreeds than hat has been before the last war. Lucille had been one of the more lucky ones in at least making sure that being a werewolf was kept a secret from the wizarding world. But there were different reasons of why her parents had kept the secret from the rest of the world.
For he was still going to assume that Lucille's parents were still purebloods that had come from a werewolf line. Both of her parents could have been from a werewolf line or just one of them could be from a werewolf line, but Logan didn't know of which was true. When Logan had took her hand that he felt her grasp his hand as he warmed her hand up with his hands. Her hands were unbelievable cold, he had to reminded himself that she didn't grow up as he did. That she could just stand there like he was doing of just wearing a t-shirt, pants and tennis shoes. Yes, he could feel the cold air around him but he was so used to it that it really didn't affect him as everyone else that was in the park or even Lucille. So naturally Logan felt warm in the coldest, that was partly due to living in the camp in the winter time playing with his friends. A few times he was in the water in the middle of winter and the water was really cold during that time, more so than during the summer. It was clear to both of them of how different their lifestyles were, neither one of them said anything as he warmed her one hand up. Logan has aww a flicker of a smile playing at Lucille's lips before it had disappeared. Logan had smiled when he saw the smile at her lips, even though the smile was there for only a few moments.
It was after the smile had faded from her lips that Lucille had looked up and met his gaze, he looked into her eyes. His gaze was more curious than her gaze was, her eyes were inquisitive to the point of where he could see a bunch of questions running though her mind. When he had touched her hand that he felt something else happening to him, something at happened between Lucille and himself. He had a guess of what was happening between Lucille and himself, but he was still slightly unsure about his guess though. When their gaze locked that something else happened, another surge happened between them. He wasn't sure of how much Lucille knows about werewolves and knowing of what happens when werewolves meet their true mates. But he knows when it happens for he had been around his two packs long enough, as well as being in the group he created and the other group he has been in, to know when a werewolf found their true mate. He knows for a fact that his true mate was standing before him, he almost couldn't believe he had found his true mate after a full moon no less.
It would explain a lot of why he felt so comfortable around her or got more more comfortable around so much quicker than any other werewolf he had meet. He had pulled himself out of his thoughts just as Lucille had spoke once more and he nearly missed her words as he pulled out of his thoughts but he manage to hear them the words. "Sure." Logan had looked around and notice that they were close to the street and he could see a cafe just across the street. "We can go to that cafe shop, unless if you prefer to go else where to have coffee. Like your place." Logan had bite his tongue at the last three words that had come out of his mouth, he had no idea of what made him say those three words. Those last three words had just come out before he could stop himself from saying them. He was almost sure that he was blushing slightly when he said those words, he really hoped that Lucille hadn't notice it. However it would harder not to notice when he was blushing unlike with Lucille, since her skin was dark and it could hard easier. Logan was rather pale next to her, a some amount of it was due to the fact that it was the full moon last night.
