"I'm not stupid," Minnie replied, crossing her arms.

[potterfreak14]

"Of course you aren't, I'll tell you... But you can't tell anybody." Indago whispered, looking around anxiously. She absolutely prayed that Minnie didn't think less of Evan now...

[minnieweasley]

"Why would I?" Minnie asked, unfolding her arms.

[potterfreak14]

"Okay, uhh..." Indago said to her feet, she then grabbed Minnie's arm and pulled her out of the store and into the alley between the store and another one. "Minnie, the truth is..." Indago continued, not looking Minnie in the eye.

[minnieweasley]

"What?" Minnie asked, in a whisper-yell. She didn't know why she had hushed her voice so, she just felt like it was appropriate.

[potterfreak14]

"I just don't know where to start, it's hard to say..." Indago said looking at her feet. She bit her lip, thinking on how to phrase what she had to say eventually.

[minnieweasley]

"Come on!" Minnie pleaded. "Why can't you tell me? It's not like I'd hate you for the rest of your life, or anything."

[potterfreak14]

"I know you won't, it's just hard to word! Okay, I'm just gonna flat out say it..." Indago began, she looked down in both directions to make sure nobody was eavesdropping. "Minnie, I'm..." Then Indago's voice dropped so low that you could barely hear it. "Pregnant."

Minnie's jaw dropped. She couldn't help it. She crossed her arms, not really knowing what she was doing. She was in utter and pure shock.

Indago sort of shrunk away, she was scared and felt alone. Plus with her cousin's reaction... She probably hated Evan even more now. "Minnie, I'm scared." Indago whispered, eyes filling with tears.

Before Minnie even knew it, she was flinging her arms around Indago and crying, but she didn't know why.

Indago hugged back, also crying. She was all weepy, stupid hormones...

At that point, Minnie understood that she wasn't just crying for Indago. It was partly because she was happy. Because for once in such a long time, Indago and herself were exchanging more than just 'his' and 'byes'.

Indago sniffed,but the flow of tears didn't stop. "I'm just so scared." Indago whispered. Of course Evan was there for her, but she felt all alone, regardless of him...

"I know," Minnie said, pulling away. "Hey, Indago?"
