Safira had lost count of the days since her kidnapping, she had no idea how long it had been sicne she had seen the outside of the train car in which she was kept prisoner. How ironic it was, to loathe the very thing which she had been so excited to board September of every year. However, her captivity had been far from what she had expected. She had thought she would be under constant guard from the Death Eaters, but she hadn't so much as seen a soul the entire time.
There was a bewitched plate of sandwiches that refilled every time it was empty, and a basin of water that never ran out, so she was never hungry or thirsty. But it was hard, Safira had not spoken to anyone in a long time, it took all her effort to remain strong for Aurora, who was growing bigger every day. The silence was deafening, she could not even create any music as her wand had been snapped when she was captured. Safira released a quiet sigh, then began to pace up and down the corridor of the car.
Her heart leaped when she heard the sound of people outside. Safira probably wouldn't care if it was a Death Eater, just so long as she had some social interaction. "Help!" Safira screamed repeatedly, her voice hoarse from lack of use. She banged on the door to the outside world that had been magically sealed. She prayed with all her might her enclosure had not been made sound proof...

Demetri wasn't worrying that he was probably going to die then. He could hear her. Actually hear his beloved. Banging the wall, just beyond the train car. He was without Isaac. Isaac had wanted to come up with some sort of a plan, and had decided to split them up to take care of other parts of the train. Demetri had found her. And there wasn't a Death Eater in sight. He bolted for the compartment, finding it locked. He banged back on the door. "Safira, I'm going to get you out! Stand back, away from the door!" he called, tears flowing down his face.

Safira's heart lept into her throat at the sound of her husband, it had been so long since she had heard his voice, she immediately felt tears streaming down her face. She took several steps back, tucking herself into a compartment to keep herself safe from the blast. "Please hurry!" Safira shouted. Her knees felt weak, she wanted out of there as soon as possible, to kiss her husband, be with him for as long as humanly possible...

Demetri clutched his wand and wordlessly used a spell to blow the door open. It was a loud, but controlled blast. Knowing Isabelle, she probably had put some complicated locking spell on the door. Plus, Demetri didn't really care whom he alerted of his presence. "Hurry my love, somebody would have heard that," he replied, smiling urgently. He threw open his arms and embraced his wife, breathing in her scent deeply. "My God, how I've missed you," he breathed.

Safira threw her arms around Demetri's neck, practically sobbing from relief and happiness. She nodded, slipping her hand into his, placing her other on top of her stomach. She now found herself a bit anxious, she had no idea as to whether or not there were any Death Eaters about, and as she was wandless she felt vulnerable. She gingerly stepped from the train car, wanting to cry all over again at being able to breathe fresh air. "Let's get out of here," Safira said quietly.

Isaac had heard the blast, even though he was all the way at the opposite end of the train. That could mean one of two things, either something had gone wrong, or Demetri had found Safira. Without even thinking Isaac sprinted to the source of the noise, and within a few seconds came across Demetri and his sister, neither of them harmed. "Thank god," Isaac breathed, having never felt so relieved in his entire life. He still did not like his sister being pregnant, but at least she was all right. "We need to get moving, before anyone turns up," said Isaac.

Demetri was surprisingly not crying, though he wanted badly to. He had to show his strength towards his wife and brother-in-law. He gently squeezed Safira's hand. She looked frazzled, but well-cared for, and as radiant as ever. He pulled her along next to him, being as fast as he possibly could with Safira on his arm. Noises were beginning to come from inside the train, frightening him a bit.

Isabelle stepped out from the shadows, intercepting the trio before they could get too far. A small smile played at the corners of her lips as yet another devious idea came to mind. She was not done having her fun with Safira, at least not yet. "You did not think I'd allow you to escape so easily, did you?" Isabelle said lazily, twirling her wand between her fingers, "that would take away all my fun." She snapped her fingers, signalling one of her men to go after Demetri, while she was behind Isaac in an instant, the tip of her wand pressed against his throat.

Demetri pushed Safira behind him the moment Isabelle stepped from the shadows. He was smart and knew not to go after her himself. When the Death Eater strolled towards him, he aimed a punch, that made it's mark. Two more servants replaced the first, whom was rolling around on the ground. Demetri stopped struggling, as his wand was ripped from his hand. Demetri glared at Isabelle, then glanced at Safira quickly. I'm sorry, he thought. I'm so sorry.

Safira screamed as both Isaac and Demetri were restrained, now what was she going to do? She had no protectors and no wand. Her first instinctive thoughts were about the baby, so she wrapped her arms around her stomach, although she knew it would not do her much good. Safira looked around helplessly, but knew that there wasn't anything that she could do. Tears streamed down her face, she was trembling all over, this felt like something out of a nightmare, but she couldn't wake up, it was real.

Isabelle smiled, grasping Isaac by his hair in one hand, wand tip at his throat by the other. She looked at Safira, far along in her pregnancy, wandless, and entirely helpless. The situation could not have been more perfect. "Your solution is simple, Safira," Isabelle said in her usual, lazy drawl, "three of you are here, only two of you can leave. Do you take your husband or your brother? Time is ticking." She laughed quietly.

Isaac fought against his captor, although his endeavours were fruitless. His newborn strength had lessened, perhaps gone away entirely, he and Isabelle were on a level playing field now, she could restrain him. Anger coursed within him at the evil woman's game, he could feel his eyes turning black with rage, but he couldn't do anything in his situation. "Safira, take him," Isaac said calmly to his sister. He had seen now that they loved each other, had even come to terms with it, although still was not terribly happy about it. Besides, he was a vampire, he would fare better without his wand against Death Eaters than a human.

Demetri looked up in astonishment. He had always respected Isaac, even feared him. But now, he admired his courage. His eyes flicked towards Safira, and he merely shook his head curtly. His head hung. Safira should take her brother. He was her kin, and he mattered more than he did. Isabelle could do whatever it was that she wanted to him. He would take it all, knowing that Safira, Aurora, and Isaac were safe. Demetri closed his eyes tightly, struggling to keep calm.

Safira took several steps back until she was up flat against a wall, she was petrified, but it didn't take an expert to see that. She closed her eyes, wishing that it would stop, tears squeezed out from between her eyelids. Isabelle was cruel, making her choose between the two people in her life that mattered most. It did not help that they were both being noble, insisting that she take the other. She did not want her daughter to grow up without a father, but she would feel horrible knowing her brother had been killed because of her.

Isaac remained unusually calm, he could hear Demetri's rapid heart beat, smell the adrenaline coming off of him in waves. If one of them did not remain collected the situation would turn nasty quickly, it was going to have to be him to be the voice of reason. "Safira, think of the baby. She can survive without an uncle, but without a father it'll be a lot harder," said Isaac, hoping that this logic would apply to his sister better than anything else he could say.
