Sarabi came alone to the stadium, there wasn't a practice scheduled that Tuesday afternoon, but she didn't have any homework that evening and had decided that she was going to go for a walk. On the way she had stopped by the shed to get her broom, Sarabi liked flying a lot. As she lazily drifted around the pitch, she recalled the last match. She and the other chasers, fraternal twins Tristan and Trinity Force, had performed amazingly. The only reason Gryffindor lost was because the Hufflepuff seeker had gotten to the snitch first.
It had been a close game, the scores neck and neck until Johnson of Hufflepuff scored 150 points and ended the game by catching the golden snitch. Sarabi had been a bit disappointed, but seeking wasn't her position, and she felt they had done well. She just hoped for a victory over Ravenclaw in December, so they could at least get third place. Sarabi snapped out of her thinking when someone from the ground called out her name, she could only see a speck from the height that she was at, so she brought her height down until she was able to see...

It was Zahra, though she was surprised that Sarabi had even heard her. She was far off and Zahra didn't exactly have the loudest voice. She wasn't too keen on using it, but she wished to hang out with her younger sister that day. Zahra was never certain what her siblings thought of her, since Zahra was handicapped and treated like a princess. It annoyed her, but her parents wouldn't treat her any differently. Plus, Zahra was too afraid to voice her opinion.

"Oh, hello Zahra," said Sarabi, then hopped off of her broom when she was a foot or two away from the ground. Her broom fell inanimate in her grasp. She always wondered what Zahra thought of her position in the family, she had been the product of an affair. Sometimes Sarabi felt unwanted, others the kids at school teased her about it. Her relationship with Blaise was always slightly estranged, she wasn't really his daughter. Kaia loved her just as much as the others, and Sarabi had the feeling that she annoyed Hyperion. But she never knew about extra quiet Zahra.

Zahra twiddled her thumbs anxiously behind her back, biting her lip. That telltale lump was forming in the back of her throat whenever she was incapable of forming the right words. This time, however, Zahra didn't attempt to swallow it away. She would let her sister speak for her. Zahra knew that Sarabi wasn't technically her sister, since she was the product of an affair. But she loved Sarabi all the same. Zahra just wasn't sure what the younger Zabini child thought of her mute sister.

In the silence, Sarabi had begun to shift her weight from one foot to the other, a sure sign that she was getting restless. She always did have issues staying still for long periods of time. Some classes, especially ones that were lecture-based, were torture to her. "Do you want to walk with me?" Sarabi asked of her sister, she really had the need to get moving before her short attention span would meander far too much.

Zahra nodded greatfully. She fell into step beside her little sister, biting her lip. After clearing her throat silently, she managed to speak. "How's school?" Zahra asked quietly, glancing over at Sarabi. She remembered what it had been like to be a little fourth year. Teased, because she wasn't quite an adult, but she wasn't a child anymore. The middle was a hard place to be in school, expecially when at Hogwarts, which was very year-oriented. Most seventh years wouldn't dream of befriending a first year, let alone a gangly fourth year.

"All right, I suppose," said Sarabi, shrugging. As usual, she left out the bit about the teasing. It was unbearable at times for her, not just because she was a third year and therefore an underclassman, but also because it wasn't hard to tell she was illegitimate. That on top of the fact she was going through puberty and the identity crisis years made it difficult for Sarabi to focus on her studies. Her grades were slipping a bit, but Sarabi didn't care too much about them, she had four more years to make up for it. "I hear you get a lot of homework, I bet you'll be grateful once your OWLs are done." Sarabi added.
