All while Liam was packing, Cici chatted with Liam's mother. It was generally pleasant conversation, although she would have much rather conversed face-to-face than via telephone. Your wizard is showing, Cici, she thought to herself as they said their goodbyes and she hung up the phone. She looked at the clock and realized that it had been nearly half an hour and Liam still had not finished. She supposed that he did have something more substantial to pack for, going after dementors in the south pole was nowhere near being in an Irish cottage for the summer.

Liam finally put the last of his gear into his rucksack and slung it over his shoulder. While it normally would have been really heavy, his rucksack was bewitched to be able to hold everything he needed and not bulge, all while being feather-light. When Liam looked at Cici's luggage, he couldn't help but think what a sight they would be on the train to get to the ferry station that would take them to Ireland; but his wife was clever, she would probably do something special with her wand to make it work. He pushed open the bedroom door. "We should go soon," said Liam.

"I suppose that we should," Cici sighed as she made her way back to their bedroom. She picked up her purse from the chair in the corner and her wand from the bedside table. With a flick and a nonverbal spell, both her normal trunk and her trunk filled with divination supplies shrunk down to the size of matchbox cars. Cici cautiously placed them into her purse and placed it over her shoulder, and then realized that she was not dressed, just in her bathrobe, while Liam already had his clothes on. She reached into her wardrobe and found the only muggle garment she had not packed, a floral print sundress. Cici pulled it on and slipped her feet into the flip-flops by the door. "Now we can leave," she said with a small smile.

Liam smiled as once more his wife showed her prowess with magic, shrinking down both her trunks to minuscule size so they could fit into her purse. He then chuckled lightly when she had put her purse on her shoulder, as if ready to leave, but was still in her bathrobe. "Yes, now we can leave," said Liam, flicking off the light switch and leading the way out of their small flat. He turned off things as they made their way to the door. He was certain that there would be several ferries leaving for Ireland today, so there was no need to be in too big a rush,as it was only eight thirty, but Liam wanted to get there quickly.

Cici slipped outside of their flat first, eyes darting up and down the hallway out of habit. "Should we tell the manager that we're going away?" asked Cici. "No, we must, as we'll have to pay our rent early." It was always a pain having a muggle flat, they had to pay month-to-month, when she would much rather pay the rate for a year. But she supposed it would be easier to move out with a month by month lease instead of an annual one. A flat worked for now, but Cici wanted to invest in a house, give her child space to grow and play in.

"Right," Liam agreed as he stepped out of their flat and closed then locked the door behind him. Out of habit he reached for Cici's hand as they walked to the manager's office. As usual, he was in and greeted them with a smile. "Good morning Mr. and Mrs. O'Malley," said the manager. "How can I help you?" Liam pulled his checkbook out of his pocket. "We're going on holiday and won't be home the rest of the summer, how much will I owe you for rent until September?" said Liam. The manager told him and Liam wrote out the check for the specified. They talked for a few minutes, and then they were on their way.

"Always such a nice man our manager, very understanding," said Cici as they walked outside of the complex and into the fresh summer morning. The weather was pleasant, slightly cool but sunny, not a cloud in the sky. But Cici knew that by noon it would be unbearably hot, so perhaps it would be a good things that she would be on a ferry to Ireland at that time. Cici breathed a sigh of content. She actually would not mind the walk to the underground station.

Liam nodded, once again taking his wife's hand. He was glad that he had invested the time into getting a muggle bank account, he usually only replenished it a couple times a year, as he found that he more often used his wizard money, the muggle world did not hold a ton of interest to him as far as spending money. Liam also found he had lost his taste for the sweets he had enjoyed in his youth, much preferring things like Bertie Bott's, or liquorice wands. "I'll write to the other members once we're settled in," said Liam as they began to cross the street where the underground station was located.[/blockqote]

Cici kept in pace with her husband as they navigated to the appropriate station at the underground. "I think that we've more important things that take priority over that; we need to be sure we are secure before we can get settled." Cici said. She did not like discussing things involving their plans in public, they had to be highly careful, use very generalized terms...[/blockquoe]

"Of course, that was what I meant," said Liam as he slid the amount of muggle money to pay for their tickets across the counter to the teller. Liam took their tickets, and then led the way to the appropriate platform. The train would be arriving anytime within the next five minutes, which was good. The less they had to wait to leave, the better. Liam did not want to even think of the mess it would make if they were attacked by Death Eaters. But they had been relatively dormant, exactly as Cici had predicted.

Cici nodded and then allowed herself a sigh. Waiting for the train didn't seem to be as long, and after a short while it pulled to a stop before them. Not unusual for the time of day, they were the only ones getting on this stop, and the compartment was mostly empty, spare for an elderly couple in the back. Cici slid into a seat, leaving room for Liam to join her. She would have much rather apparated directly to the O'Malley cottage, but she supposed that it would be rude since Liam had already told his parents they would arrive late that evening.

Liam put his rucksack on the floor between his feet, it made an abnormally loud thunk! as it hit the ground, but the old couple in the back did the mildest of double-takes at the sound. After another wait of two minutes, the doors slid such and the train began speeding off to its destination. Liam knew the route to the ferry station that would take them to Ireland all too well, as it was customary for them to go to his parent's cottage for Christmas.

[blockqote] Cici's eyes traveled to the window, watching the lights in the tunnels whip past every few seconds. The light directly overhead was humming loudly, it flickered every so often, she could feel it starting to give her a headache, or perhaps it was just her nerves picking up again. Cici could not help but be anxious, Isabelle's plans were so hard to track, even with someone on their side being very close to the mastermind. The Death Eaters could be anywhere, even disguised as the old couple in the back... Cici stopped that train of thought, she shouldn't be so paranoid. [/blockquote]
