Raychel entered the Great Hall excruciatingly early. She peered around and found only a few Ravenclaws sitting doing homework. She smiled softly to herself. Raychel made her way to a vacant area of the table and sat down. There was no need for food, since she had gone hunting early that morning. She was getting more accustomed to the deer and wild catsprowling in the woods, so the taste was moderately better.
Raychel had been taking Gabriella's advice when it came to blending in. For the most part, it was working. Except for the fact Alec was bugging her to no end, she was actually flirting a bit back, and she was feeling guilty about it, everything was slowly gliding back into the norm. Still, Raychel couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, that something even worse was just around the corner. Suddenly, she heard her name from across the room. Raychel hastily looked up.

Levi smiled at his girlfriend, taking a seat across from her. He had always been a very early riser. For once, he didn't have any last-minute homework to finish at breakfast, so he could enjoy a good meal and read his Daily Prophet. "'Morning," said Levi, pouring himself a cup of black coffee and piling a few slices of toast and scrambled eggs onto his plate.

Raychel smiled at Levi. "Good morning love." She replied, watching him unfold the Daily Prophet that had been under his arm. Her eyes studied the front page as he opened the paper. Finding nothing of interest, she poured herself a cup of coffee, leaving it black. Although coffee wasn't necessarily her favorite thing, the bitter taste was something that actually tasted good to her now. Taking a sip, she remembered their conversation at the Hospital Wing. "Have you thought more about the Ministry's offer?" She asked, crossing one leg over the other.

"Yeah, I'm still not sure though," said Levi, not looking up from the article he was currently reading. This kept him up at night, it was an extraordinarily good offer, excellent salary and it would be doing what he loved, but it was still at a tremendous sacrifice. His mother wouldn't be pleased if he left school, but the offer wasn't going to last long enough for him to complete his final year at Hogwarts.

Raychel took another sip of her coffee and looked about the room. The few people that had been present when she had arrived that morning were dispersing little by little. Eventually, her and Levi were alone, save for a young Slytherin boy asleep in his oatmeal. Raychel stifled a giggle than turned to Levi. A serious expression was placed upon her face. "There's a little tidbit I left out of my... well..." she replied, her voice dropping low. Of course she was referring to her being Turned. She intended on telling Levi the last crucial piece of the puzzle today, whether or not she would regret it.

Levi raised his eyebrows and leaned in a bit. "What?" he asked in a low tone (even if the hall was empty spare for them and the Slytherin boy), obviously this was something highly important, otherwise Raychel wouldn't be so serious about whatever it was. Levi wanted it to be very clear to her that her problems would be his problems, and he would do whatever possible to help solve them, regardless on if she wanted assistance or not.

Raychel took a calming breath. "Isabelle is the one who Bit me, who Turned me. I think I am the first one she has ever Turned, so breaking the bond is going to be difficult. For now, I'm on both sides of this godforsaken war." she finished in a whisper. "But not by choice. I'd rather be fighting for the Order." she added quickly, straightening up and talking a bit more normal. She hung her head, ashamed. "I should have told you sooner." Raychel replied.

"No, no, it's okay," said Levi. "We'll figure this out, and there won't be a thing she can do about it when we do." Vampire things weren't his area of expertise, runes were. He only knew enough to pass the unit in Defense Against the Dark Arts, but a little extra research wouldn't hurt he supposed. Not when it had something to do with Raychel.

Raychel smiled softly and met Levi's gaze. She reached her hand across the table and placed it atop Levi's. "Damn right." She replied with a laugh. "Thank you Levi. For everything." she said, her voice wavering from all the built up emotion rising in her. "I love you, no matter what happens."

"And I will always love you," said Levi. He leaned over the table and placed a light kiss on Raychel's lips, his hand finding hers. Things were getting more and more complicated by the minute. Nothing was going to be easy anymore, there were dark forces out there, making everything a lot more complex than it needed to be.

Raychel smiled softly. She took another sip of her coffee. An overwhelming joy filled her chest as she looked at Levi. For the first time in a while, she thought about marriage. Would a stable marriage even be possible now with her being a vampire? Another overwhelming urge came upon her. "Levi..." she started slowly. "Alec Reese is flirting with me." she replied quickly before she could stop herself.

"Alec Reese flirts with anything that has breasts and moves," said Levi with a slight frown, not finding it much a shock, although he couldn't help but be angry. Raychel was his girlfriend, Alec couldn't have her. Levi kept his anger in check, obviously there was nothing he could do about it, even if he was confident that he could easily beat Alec in a duel.

"I just thought you should be aware of that." Raychel replied with a small smile. "Please, just don't worry about me, I'll handle it. If I ever need you, I know you'll be behind me in order to kick his sorry behind." she replied with a small laugh. The thought of Alec getting his ass handed to him in a duel was rather enjoyable. Raychel laughed a bit at the image before taking a sip of coffee. "I can't believe the year is almost over." she commented. It was a bizarre thing, knowing she was heading into her last year at Hogwarts.

"I know, it seems this year has gone by so quickly," said Levi with a light sigh, his brain not quite ready to move away from the topic of Alec flirting with his girlfriend, but he knew he needed to drop it before he got too angry about it. Levi took in a long sip of coffee and placed the mug back on the table. He then started on his breakfast before it would get cold.

Raychel nodded in agreement. She could tell Levi was still mulling over Alec. She frowned and looked her boyfriend over before shaking her head. Raychel took a sip of her coffee indifferently, and her thoughts turned from frustration in Alec to a life with her beloved Levi. She smiled a bit, thinking of a modest wedding, nothing to elaborate. Raychel was glad for her vampirism, for she would have been blushing.
