Angel had resumed the position she had been in day in and day out once more. Lying on her left side on the sofa in the living room, hands busy knitting. The WWN on the coffee table that had cost her twelve pounds was playing the commentators on the Puddlemere United versus Ireland game. Her ears were perked for the mention of seekers, Ressel and... Whatever his name was. So far, it was a tight game, Ireland's chasers were impeccably amazing.
Angel counted the stitches in her knitting, she was making the receiving blankets for Isaiah and Morgayne, since she had completed the large blanket for her own bed. So far she had knitted fifteen, and she wanted a minimum of forty, twenty for each baby. There was a knock at the door, and Angel had to work at getting up, her sons were very big now, she still couldn't imagine them getting much bigger, even with four months to go. Angel opened the door only to see...

Gabriella, who was grinning. "Happy Sunday!" she said cheerfully, giving her cousin a gentle hug before shutting the door behind her. She entered Angel's flat, setting a bowl of snacks on the table. "I though you would want something to eat while listening to the game," Gabriella said with a slight shrug. "It does get rather nerve-racking." She took a seat on the chair, smiling a bit as she noted Angel's knitting needles. She knew her cousin could get pretty bored, sitting around alone all the time. Gabriella promised herself that she would visit more once school was out.

Angel beamed widely, she missed her cousin and best friend so much these days. She spent most of her time alone, since she couldn't go too far without being utterly exhausted, and the more time she spent off her feet the better, it would help to prevent pre-term labour. "Well I appreciate them," said Angel, she needed to eat a lot anyways, the healer had told her a minimum of six-thousand calories. She sat on the couch, leaving room for Gabriella, and then set aside her knitting so she could eat.

"It was really no problem," Gabriella assured her. She had left a little bit early, and had decided to get some food for Angel. Gabriella liked to bring things when she arrived at her cousin's house. "How is Bradley doing?" she asked, listening intently to the Wizard Wireless. Unfortunately, there was no mention of him at the moment.

"Professionally very well, Puddlemere United has only lost one game this season," said Angel after she swallowed a rather large mouthful off food. "Personally, I've no idea. He's had so many matches abroad in a row that they don't even have him come home between them." If she weren't pregnant, she would be traveling with him, but her healer had advised her strongly against it. Besides, Angel was terribly uncomfortable now, she didn't need to be sleep-deprived, eating exclusively junk, and being in places much hotter than England.

"I see," Gabriella replied with a nod to her cousin. "Does he write often?" she asked, hoping very much that Bradley liked to write, as Angel probably couldn't stand much more of this loneliness. Gabriella fell silent for a moment as Ireland scored another goal. They had excellent Chasers, and it seemed that they had for a long time. It was a pleasant change from teams that only wanted a good Seeker. Sure Seekers were important, but three excellent Chasers could win without a good Seeker.

"Not often," Angel said with a frown. "I don't expect there's much time, if you've got a match half-way across the world from where you're currently playing, I mean." She kept her needles clicking, working tirelessly on number sixteen of the receiving blankets. Only twenty-four after this one, Angel thought to herself.

Raychel shifted the box of food over to her other hip as she raised her hand to knock. She hesitated, knowing full well that Gabby would be able to tell she was a new vampire. Raychel had made sure to feed right before coming so she wouldn't be tempted to bite Angel. Taking a shaky breath, she knocked on the door. A call came from inside, inviting her in. Raychel opened the door and smiled softly. She could smell Gabby, a familiar scent considering she had been near a vampire recently.
Then an unfamiliar scent wafted through her nose. And it was definitely not human. Raychel met Gabby's gaze hesitantly, waiting for her to jump up. Then she turned her attention to Angel. She gestured to the large box of goodies on her hip as she closed the door. "Brought some snacks for momma and the babies." She replied with a small smile. Raychel walked over to the table and set the box down. The Wizard Wireless was already on, covering the Puddlemere game as she took a seat across from Gabby.

"Oh, hello Raychel, thanks," said Angel, lifting the lid off of the box. All sorts of good stuff, she was hungry twenty-four hours a day; and when combined with the fact she didn't have very much money, she appreciated anything people brought to share with her. She began eating, this was turning into a very good day, girl time with two of her closest friends, it was refreshing.

Raychel smiled at Angie as she dug through the box. Again, a strange, unfamiliar scent wafted through her nose, and Raychel had to shake her head in order to rid her senses of it. Raychel took a banana out of the box and hesitantly bit into it, hoping to keep up the act around Angel. The fruit she used to love now tasted like ash in her mouth. It took a great deal of force in order to eat the entire thing. Afterwards, Raychel had to make herself not rid her tongue of the awful taste.

"Perhaps you just ought to tell her, Raychel," Gabriella commented, noting how her friend was forcing herself to eat a banana. It had come as a large surprise when Raychel had entered, seeing as her scent had dramatically changed. Gabriella had to wonder what on earth she was doing at Angel's house, being a newborn vampire, but she couldn't really question it at the moment. But it was a good thing that Gabriella was there, just in case something went wrong. Raychel didn't know how careless she was being.

Angel looked at Raychel again for a moment; she was most certainly different, but she wasn't going to say anything until she spoke up. She had her suspicions, as she nearly always did, but she seldom ever said anything about them. Angel intensified her listening to the match as the announcer proclaimed the seekers had dove at high speeds, but found herself disappointed that it was only feign; designed to lure Bradly into plowing into the ground. Fortunately, her boyfriend was far too intelligent for that ploy.

Raychel flashed a somewhat frightened glance at Gabby. No doubt she looked naive and stupid, trespassing into Angel's flat being a newborn. "Surprise?" she asked, her voice raising up an octave. She sighed heavily and slumped down into the seat nearest her and placed her head in her hands. "Well, the cat's out of the bag I suppose. I'm no longer exactly... human." she stumbled over the words as if being a vampire were torture... which, it was. Raychel looked up and eyed both Gabby and Angel. "Isabelle Bit me."

Gabriella jumped at the mention of the vampire Dark Lady, a queer action for a person who was usually so still. "Isabelle?" she repeated, in shock. What would Isabelle need with Raychel? This was bad, this was very bad. "Why?" Gabriella asked, unable to contain the question.

[blovkquote] Raychel cringed as Gabby's words pierced through her. "I was running by the Forbidden Forest and she found me. Before... with Levi... she threatened she would come back for me when she left with Professor North. She kept that promise and we... well, we dueled. I was doing well for a while." she paused, her voice catching in her throat. She cleared it nervously. "But... it all went wrong. She broke nearly every bone i my body then... feasted. It's a miracle I even survived." she finished, her voice draining from a nervous titter, to a terrified whisper. "You do know what this means. I'm linked to her." Raychel choked on the last few words. [/blockquote]
