"True, true," said Emily, scratching her head just behind her left ear. She vaguely wondered where Gabriella and Isaac were, she had yet to see them. But she might not see them this evening, they were, after all, soon to be spouses, they probably wanted to spend time alone together. Emily missed Quidditch... She was sure that Blaize, Zelphar, and Safira missed it too. Emily was hoping to be made Slytherin captain next year, since Isaac was graduating.

Blaize looked around awkwardly, unsure of what to do or say. Then his eyes fell upon the food table. A small smirk came to his lips, yes, he was going to make his Uncle Fred very happy with him indeed. Hermione not so much, she didn't find that kind of thing funny... "I'm going to hex a few pastries," Blaize said in a low tone. "Anyone care to be my accomplice?" He pulled his wand from his robe sleeve, feeling rather devious.

Zelphar too felt himself grinning just a bit. He wasn't that much of a prankster, but the occasional one had the potential to be a lot of fun. So long as it was harmless, Zelphar didn't like cruel antics. "All right," said Zelphar. "I'm in." He too drew his wand and eyed the sweets on the table beside the punch. He knew from observation that people tended to take food from the edges, and generally the ones that were either the largest, or had the most icing.

"No way in hell are you two going to do this without me," said Emily, also with a wide smile. She too wasn't one too big on pranks, but she would do the occasional one here and there. Usually on Blaize since he was so much fun to prank. Emily had been thinking of pulling one on Gabriella, but vampires were hard to trick, she wasn't sure how she would do it. Perhaps she might talk to Isaac...

Safira raised her eyebrows. She couldn't believe that she was friends with people that were just so immature. They were acting just like Isaac! Sure, she loved her brother, but sometimes she wished that he would just grow up. "I'd rather keep my nose clean for the evening," said Safira. Truth be told, she didn't want to stand off on the sidelines by herself, but there was no telling if teachers were watching! Safira was a prefect, and hoping to be made Quidditch captain since Gabriella was graduating.

"Aw, you're no fun, Safira," Azzurra teased lightly as she approached Zelphar's group of friends. She knew them all a bit, though she had never really hung out with them a whole lot. There was Emily and Blaize Weasley, as well as Safira Malfoy. It was surely a strange bunch. Technically, Azzurra was here with Alec, but she couldn't seem to find him and hadn't felt like waiting outside to see if he was late. Alec just wasn't the type to wait outside of the Great Hall when there was fun to be had. So Azzurra had come in alone for the moment. Hopefully Alec would show up soon.
