On the day the ten meteors hit Aquinnah, Massachusetts, a mission was dispatched. The ten chosen stars Bellatrix, Diadem, Zania, Hao, Maia, Saiph, Rasalis, Acubens, Grumium, and Enif were the only ones powerful enough to complete it. Their quest was to save the humans, the ones that had so longingly gazed upon them for thousands of years. When they landed, they found a world much different than they remembered.
The technology and language were different, but the hate, war, anger, and destruction. The stars were appalled. Now as they begin to doubt whether or not the human race is worth saving, the world is slowly tearing itself apart. Is there enough time for the humans to show the stars that there is more to them than what they can see, or will they become their own demise?
