Only those who elected to take this class must take the exam.

The Andromeda galaxy was... How far away was it? Isaac hated fill-in-the-blank questions, they usually saved the hardest ones for these. He skipped on to the next question, figuring that it might come to him later. The pictured constellation was Sagittarius. That one was pretty easy. Approximately how many planets can be viewed at any given time in the Northern Hemisphere during winter? Isaac frowned a bit, and counted off planets using his fingers. Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and sometimes Jupiter. That made four.

Gabriella was elated; this was her very last theory exam before the practical that would take place at midnight. She filled in the questions with ease, as she had just studied her notes about an hour before. Her mind began to wander as she thought of the night practical. It would be pretty interesting to fill out charts at midnight. She supposed most of the students would be tired. Gabriella was the opposite. She was a bit tired now, but would be wide awake at midnight.

It was midnight and Jenna was exhausted. Finally it was the last of the NEWT exams, but also the one she had to stay up quite late to take. She stared blankly through her telescope for a moment before snapping out of her trance and hurriedly writing in a few more constellations. At least she didn't have to use the Time-Turner for this exam, though it was shoved underneath her robes just in case.

Luke was thrilled that this was everyone's last exam. On the other side of the tower, the fifth years were also filling out star charts with everything they had learned and on this side, all the seventh years that had taken NEWT Astronomy (not many) were filling theirs in. Luke quickly finished the Ursa Minor constellation and then moved his telescope around for the next one.
