OWL Ancient Runes

Emily twisted a strand of her hair around her finger, a little annoyed that her exams were back-to-back, with very little of a break between. OWLs were awful. At least translating runes was pretty easy. She had inherited that ability from her mother, just not her entire intelligence, which really sucked just then. Emily continued to work at a steady place. Ancient runes was like a breath of fresh air, besides, there wasn't a practical portion to the test. Just theory.

Zelphar worked diligently, he also needed to do well on this one to go into alchemy. Many of the needed formulas for creating things, especially with the more precious metals. Clear lines of exhaustion showed on his face, OWLs were extremely draining. At least he wouldn't have much trouble sleeping tonight. He itched his eye and continued on, starting to feel very much like sleeping.
