The garden was especially beautiful that Valentine's night, and Gabriella was thoroughly impressed. Where had this been at Christmas? It was so pretty now. She reached into the pocket of her cloak and drew out the obviously wrapped box of candy. "Happy Valentine's Day," she said, handing it over to Isaac.

"Thank you," said Isaac with a smile, already smelling what was inside, it was a box of chocolates. Isaac had not attempted to eat food since the day he had forced himself to sit down and have breakfast with Hiroku. Toast and coffee, it had been absolutely awful. Isaac tried one, it didn't taste too bad, it was kind of like eating when you were full, it wasn't necessary. "I figured that I would give you something a bit more heart-felt than bought," said Isaac, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the necklace. "It was my great-grandmother's,"

Oh dear, Isaac had chosen the piece of chocolate that was actually chocolate. How unfortunate. The rest of them were actually filled with little bits of blood to make it more appealing to him. Boredom often struck Gabriella at about two a.m. The necklace Isaac was holding out to her was perfectly stunning. It was a bit amazing how many heirlooms the Malfoys had. "Wow, that's beautiful," Gabriella said with a grin.

"I thought you might like it," said Isaac, grinning, he placed the box of candy on the bench behind him and undid the clasp. He put it on for Gabriella, it caught the pale moonlight and shimmered. He picked up another one of the candies and bit into it. Instantly the sweet taste of blood filled his mouth. He swallowed. "Wow," he said. "What kind of candy is that?"

"Thank you," Gabriella said after he clasped the necklace around her neck. She let her hair fall back behind her and smiled at Isaac as he ate another chocolate. "The kind that your girlfriend fills with our special food," Gabriella replied with a grin. Blood-filled chocolates were actually a lot better than they sounded.

"You did an excellent job with them, love," said Isaac, gently kissing Gabriella on the cheek and going back for another. Gifts did not have to expensive, as he had grown up in a home where most things cost over three-hundred Galleons, he was unimpressed by fancy things. He pulled out his wand and did a quick charm. Instantly a slow, romantic song began to play from nowhere. Isaac tucked away his wand and returned the candy to the bench. He made a deep bow and offered Gabriella his hand. "May I have this dance?" Isaac asked.

Gabriella grinned widely. The things Isaac did, it almost made her dizzy just being around him. He was the most amazing person she had ever met. "I would love to dance," Gabriella replied. She curtsied and took his hand with a small laugh. He had always been so formal.

Isaac smiled and began to lead. The pressure had been taken off of his shoulders, it was just the two of them in the garden, nobody to bother them. As they danced, Isaac's mind wavered to... Certain things... He dislodged that train of thought. She will probably want to wait until we're married anyways, thought Isaac.

Gabriella stepped perfectly in tune with him. Dancing with Isaac was easy, especially when they were alone. Actually, everything around him seemed easy. Gabriella entertained the same thought for a moment, but figured Isaac would want to be a gentleman. Plus she wasn't sure if she wanted to wait or not.

Ever so gently, Isaac leaned in close to Gabriella and kissed her lightly on the lips. The feeling was almost surreal, Gabriella was his, and their parents would not be able to stop them. However much they might dislike it. "I love you," Isaac whispered.

Gabriella smiled, but a part of her wanted him to kiss harder, force her to end the kiss instead. But this was alright, it was amazing actually. "I love you more," Gabriella replied, leaning in to kiss him on the lips as well, staying just a little bit longer than he had.

Isaac smiled softly, Gabriella was the only person for him. It was exhilarating just being around her, there never seemed to be a dull moment when they were together. "No, I love you more," Isaac whispered, kissing his fiance lightly, this time lingering for a while.

Gabriella couldn't argue, she was too busy kissing him. Right now, she didn't care who loved the other person more, because she was pretty sure they loved each other equally. But what did matter was him being there, kissing her like they couldn't stop. Everything seemed to sparkle perfectly.

Isaac transfered his hands to a more comfortable position on Gabriella's hips. They seemed to be shaped just for his hands, nobody else's. This was a wonderful feeling. There was no worrying that they might hurt each other. Gabriella was unbreakable to Isaac's superhuman strength. Her skin did not feel cold to him as a normal person would feel it, but warm and soft... Isaac did not want this moment to end.

Gabriella seemed to fit perfectly in Isaac's arms and she wondered if the match was made in heaven. Everything about them fit together, like they were meant to be together. Nothing else mattered because Isaac was with her. The moment seemed to go on forever; Gabriella couldn't make herself pull away.
