It was one of those extremely enjoyable days when Jenna didn't have homework and the sun was actually shining. Only a few clouds littered the sky and the snow on the ground was less than two inches. For January at Hogwarts, the weather was perfect. Therefore, Jenna had wandered out into the garden and was walking among the trees.
A piece of paper stuck in a tree caught Jenna's eye and she reached up to bring it down. Her hand hovered six inches away from the tree branch she needed to grab, she was clearly too short. Jenna's thoughts went to her wand, left in her dorm, which rarely left her side these days. And of course she didn't have it now.
Jenna stood up on her tiptoes, reaching for the piece of paper that she was pretty sure was blank. She didn't want the beautiful garden to be littered with trash in the spring, Jenna just had to get it down and throw it away inside the castle. Her fingers were still too far away from the tree branch to reach it. It was no use jumping, she was hardly close enough. What she needed was someone tall, or a piggyback. "Hey," said a very familiar voice. Jenna, still on tiptoe, looked over at...

Luke grinned as he walked over to his rather small girlfriend, who was standing on tiptoe, her tiny hand outstretched toward a paper resting on a tree branch. It was only the type of thing Jenna would care about, anyone else would just leave the thing there. But Luke loved that about her, she truly did care.
He reached her quickly. "Hey, Jen, hop on," he said, turning and bending down so Jenna could jump on his back and reach the piece of paper stuck in the tree. He had his wand stored in his pocket, but it was much more fun to give Jenna a piggyback to get the paper.

Jenna grinned at the sight of her favorite man, Luke, bending down to give her a lift up to the tree branch. He was just so considerate like that, and he knew exactly who she was. Jenna would rather grab the paper herself than let Luke grab it for her, so this was clearly the best way.
"Alright!" she said, happily and then jumped onto his back with a laugh. After Luke pretended to stumble around under her weight for a few joking moments, he steadied her toward the tree. Jenna reached her miniature hand toward the tree branch and clutched the piece of paper there. She still sat on Luke's back and opened up the paper. Empty.

Luke twisted his head around in an attempt to see his girlfriend who was riding high on his back still. He didn't want to dump her on the ground, this was far too much fun, but he also wanted to know if the paper said anything. But gosh, Jenna was remarkably light, even for someone of her size.
"Does it say anything?" Luke asked, as he was finally able to catch her eye. His head was twisted around a bit awkwardly, but it didn't hurt, so it didn't bother him. He waited for Jenna's response, guessing that the paper was blank.

Jenna shook her head and stuffed the paper in her pocket. No, it was just a blank piece of paper, someone's piece of trash that Jenna had cleaned up for them. Stupid person, whoever they were. At least it was littering the garden anymore. A thought occurred to Jenna. What if it was written in invisible ink? Maybe it did say something. Oh well, she would test it later, right now she wanted to have fun with Luke.
"Nope, just a blank sheet of paper, it seems," Jenna replied with a smile into his bright blue eyes. He was so amazing, Jenna couldn't even think of a life without him. Luke was her constant, standing by her side in an ever-changing world.

Luke smiled and gave a shrug that was a little bit weird with Jenna still riding on his back. As far as he was concerned, the paper didn't really matter anymore, though he wondered if it was written in invisible ink. It didn't matter, what could a piece of paper tell them anyway?
"Alright, we can have some fun then!" Luke said, his blue eyes looking mischevious all of a sudden. With a slight laugh, he started to run, Jenna bouncing along on his back. They were soon in fits of wild laughter.

Jenna had been caught off guard by Luke's sudden start, and she gripped him tightly as he began to run around the courtyard. She was bouncing wildly upon his back, fits of laughter shaking her until tears began to roll from her eyes and down her cheeks. They were both laughing so hard, this was so perfect.
Jenna's laughter was starting to subside enough for her to talk at least. "WEE!!" she said with a laugh and playfully kicked Luke in the side as though to spur him on faster. She started to laugh even harder, Jenna's blue eyes dancing with delight and rolling with tears.

Luke laughed harder as Jenna pretended to spur him on, like someone would spur on their horse almost. He galloped playfully around the garden as they both were laughing far to hard to even see straight anymore. Luke was amazed he didn't run into a tree or something.
"Faster, faster!" Luke exclaimed, running wildly down the little path, now like a charging bull. He reached the other end of the garden, then turned around and charged back, his laughter loud and starting to hurt his stomach. He let Jenna slip to the ground and they both collapsed in laughter.

They were both laying on the ground, and it seemed neither of them could stop laughing. Every time Jenna thought she would surely stop, a glance over at Luke kept her in wild fits of laughter. Her eyes were welling up and soon tears would be streaming down her face because she was laughing so hard.
Jenna wiped the tears that were now flowing down her face, but she was still unable to stop laughing entirely, and the tears kept coming. They must look crazy to any outsider. As though conjured by the mere thought, someone else entered the gardens. A laughing Jenna glanced up to see...
