Jenna gave a small chuckle. Isaac wouldn't be falling asleep anyway, but Jenna could keep that secret. "And I have a dormitory that I should probably go up to now," she replied. Jenna yawned slightly, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Indeed you should, good night miss Clearwater." said Isaac, then tapped a panel on the wall. It opened slowly, creaking like an old door. "That goes up to the owlery," Isaac explained. "Just so you can get to your dormitory without having to deal with this stuff."

Jenna nodded. "Well that's a relief," she replied with a smile as she stepped into the little tunnel. She started walking, feeling herself moving upwards. A few minutes later she was in the owlrey. Jenna shivered as she began to walk down the tower stairs and back to the main ones.

Isaac tapped the panel again and it slid closed behind Jenna. He sighed, unsure of what to do with the rest of his night. Perhaps he would go for a swim or something to get his creativity back. He ran until he was outside and beside the lake. Isaac gazed upon the black surface, then took in a deep breath. He stripped down to his boxers and waded out into the water. He dove beneath the surface. The water no longer stung his eyes. Not needing to breathe, Isaac could stay beneath the water forever. He resurfaced only to see someone who looked familiar on the shore.

Well, this was a tad odd. Gabriella had bought a muggle bathing suit so she could go swimming at night. But there was Isaac, swimming around in his boxers. Laughing, Gabriella dove in and swam over very quickly. "Hi cutie," she said with a grin.

"Good evening gorgeous," Isaac said, pulling Gabriella into a gentle hug while treading water. Normally, he would have been cold, but the water felt a bit warm actually. Probably because he was so cold now. He kissed the top of her head. "What brings you here?" Isaac asked.

Gabriella pretended to ponder this for a while. "Well I've found that I rather like swimming in the dark," she replied with a grin. "What brings you out to this dark lake?" Gabriella dove under the water for a moment, letting her hair out of the ponytail. She resurfaced, her long wet hair flowing around her.

"I need some muse, I found my creativity has run dry." Isaac said with a small frown. He could tread water like this for hours without a respite. There were some advantages to being a vampire, he supposed. "You might want to stay away from the seventh floor corridor," Isaac added.

Gabriella glanced at him. "That's where my common room is," she said, raising her eyebrows. "Alright, what did you do?" she asked, with a small smile. It didn't matter much anyway, she could get past Isaac's tricks now.

Isaac smiled deviously, he still had a small shred of childlike immaturity in him despite what had happened to him. "Bewitched some suits of armor to harass passerby, made an invisible wall in the middle of the corridor, some disappearing floor tiles, harmless fun." said Isaac. "Your cousin, Jenna, helped."

Gabriella raised her eyebrows. Jenna didn't seem like the type to be mischevious, but everyone did have their moments. "Well, that sounds like fun," Gabriella replied. "I guess I'll be avoiding that corridor then. Wouldn't want to run into an invisible wall or anything."

"No, not the best idea," Isaac agreed. "When we head inside I can show you a passage to the owlery so you can go around it." He then dove beneath the surface, able to see everything that was going on without much an issue. Isaac resurfaced, then shook his wet hair from his eyes.

Gabriella had nodded, but before Isaac had resurfaced, she was already underwater, diving down deep and swimming around in random circles. The water would be terribly cold to someone normal, but both Isaac and Gabriella were anything but normal. The water felt soothingly warm to them. Gabriella resurfaced, her long hair plastered against her back.

"We have all evening my love," Isaac commented. "What shall we do with it?" Normally, Isaac would be doing his homework, or setting up outrageous pranks throughout the castle, but he was with Gabriella now, they could do whatever they felt like. They could run all the way to Wales if they felt like it.

Gabriella shrugged, pulling her arms up through the water so that she was only treading with her legs. She kicked up slightly and kissed Isaac on the lips before coming back down. Even in the water, his head was still a few inches above hers. "There's a start," she said with a smile.
