Emily slid into a seat at the Slytherin table, she was late to dinner as usual. She had just gotten off shift, and was ravenous. The dinner rush had died down, there were now a grand total of thirteen people total in the hall. A few nerdy Ravenclaws who were eating and doing homework, and lolli-gagging Gryffinfor or two and a few Hufflepuffs. Emily served herself some mashed potatoes and meatloaf, ignoring the corn in front of her. Corn was the only thing Emily could not stand to eat. She didn't know what it was about it, but corn was really gross. Just as Emily was reaching for her goblet of pumpkin juice, she looked up and saw...
