Ariana had just come in from a late night stroll with Jacob again. The icy fall night air still clung to her spring jacket. Her watch beeped loudly, signaling midnight on the dot. She spun around the empty corridor, her arms flung out wide. It was dark and she kept falling down, but it made her laugh harder. With all the screaming and laughing she was doing she was surprised a proffesser hadn't dragged her by her ear back to the common room. She spun around, screaming at the top of her lungs. Isaac, grinning, but also sort of scared by Ariana's strange behavior. "Hello, down there. You do realize that it's possible for me to hear you four floors up, you know." Isaac said, extending a hand to help Ariana up.

Ariana smiled and took his hand. "Hello up there" She laughed. She spun around again and slid to a stop, letting out a scream for good measure. "I'm not insane, your just sane!" She said when she saw his expression.

"Wouldn't doubt that for a moment." Isaac said. If he were a human, he would have thought that Ariana had went and got herself drunk again, but since he was a vampire, he couldn't smell alcohol from her. She was just acting crazy.

Ariana laughed. "So did you have a reason for coming up here? Was I interuppting you?" She asked, spinning around once more. She couldn't stand up straight, the corridor was spinning and she couldn't on Isaac. She kept laughing until she hiccuped.

[malfoy]

"No, not really," said Isaac, arching an eyebrow at Ariana's strange behavior. "I was just bewitching a statue to sing at random intervals. Might I ask what you're doing?" He had never seen someone Ariana's age behave lik this before. It was a tad bit creepy.

Ariana couldn't help but grin goofily. She thought about her walk with Jacob. "I just got back from a walk with someone and I'm happy." She smiled and spun around once more. "It was nice..." She said to herself.

[malfoy]

"Ah, this walk could have been with a certain gentleman, now would it?" Isaac said teasingly. He had saw them leave when he was hiding inside a suit of armor in his snake form, pondering what prank to pull that evening. He had decided to go for the statues.

Ariana opened her mouth for a smart-allec response, but couldn't think of one. "Maybe" She grinned, twirling her hair. "How would you know?" She asked, leaning against the wall. Had he guessed or had he seen? How much did he know?

"The walls have eyes, Miss Potter." Isaac said,leaning against a stone wall. The wall felt warm to him, perhaps because his skin was so cold. Who knew? Maybe it was just the magic of Hogwarts. "Don't worry, I won't tell." he added.

Ariana bit her lip. Her parents would flip at the sight of Jake. She didn't know if to trust Isaac, she had sold him and Gabby out first. "You promise you won't tell?" She asked cautiously.

"Cross my cold, dead heart, and hope to die." said Isaac with a grin. Sure, she had betrayed him and Gabriella last term, but Ariana had kept his secret about him becoming a vampire. He could keep a trivial boyfriend secret. Not like Mr. and Mrs. Potter would listen to him anyways.
