Circles {Family}

Lily sat on a stump in ythe heart of the forest. She stood up and looked ta the sky. She whisteled in a pattern. Soon there was a loud swooshing noise. A dragon about 10 feet long and 6 feet high anded right infront of her. It gave a loud roar of greeting and nuzzeled its mighty head on her. She laughed and whisteled another tune. Another dragon came and came over. She lept on repeating the process until they all were there. They were only 6 months old. She had invited every person she knew in her family to meet her here, her babys needed homes and she couldnt handle them on her own and they couldnt live in the wild...

Indago stumbled over a tree root, but caught herself before she fell. "Damn it." she said under her breath, then looked up to see Lily, she firmly blocked her thoughts, then approached her, Indago's black locks falling into her eyes. "Lily," Indago began, knowing there was a ton she needed to say, but not able to find the right words to say it...

Lily nodded slowly. All of the dragons had fled when they had heard Indago. She looked up at the sky and began whistiling again. One landed right infront of Indago. It was Penny, she was named that for the coppery shine on her scales. Lily gently stroked Penny muttering words in her ear. Penny let out a series of chirps in agreement. Lily turned to face Indago.

Indago had immense feelings on her chest and she had no words to releave herself. So basically she summed up her feelings with the words; "I'm sorry." Indago whispered.

Lily shrugged. "About what? I was the bratt" She said still stroking Penny. She had picked Penny for Indago. She began whispering in her ear again. Penny chirped in agreement and let out a mighty roar. Lily smiled and leaned against her. "I asked everyone to come here because my babys cant survive in the wild and considering they arent the size of babys anymore I cant control them all." She explained and kept on whistiling as one by one all of her dragons landed with thuds

"This has nothing to do with the dragons. I was a jerk." Indago said reassuringly.

"Yes but I was stubborn" She said defiently. She wouldnt let Indago blame herself especcialy if it meant Indago would hurt herself. "And the reason you are here is because of the dragons" She shrugged

"I'm not going to hurt myself, for this reason anyway. I was the worst sister anybody could have, you shouldn't have had to put up with it." Indago insisted.

Lily drew heself to full height although it wasnt much. "No you were not!" She said her voice rising. She knew Indago was thinking about being an emo, whatever that was and having a baby before getting married. Thinking of this Lily rubbed her covered arms. They hurt like heck after cutting them. She didnt know why she did it but she did and she bitterly regretted it

"I know it hurts, here." Indago said, softening her tone and ulling a pot of soothing balm from her pocket. She gently grasped Lily's wrist and dipped her fingers into the pot. She gently rubbed the balm on Lily's forearm. "It softens the scars in time." Indago said.

Lily didnt feel any different. She sighed. She never won any fights. She wasnt a kid, she handled raising herself for 9 years all by herself. She just stroked Pennys head. Indago wasnt to blame.

"Doesn't that feel better?" Indago asked, screwing the cap back on the pot of balm. She felt sick to her stomach, maybe it was because she didn't eat breakfast...

"Anyone else coming?" Asked Lily remembering the real reason she had asked Indago to be here.

Indago shrugged. She wasn't quite sure if anyone else was going to be there. She shivered slightly, it was a little cold out.

"Well, I cant take care of all of my dragons on my own so I have chosen a dragon for you, her name is Penny" Explained Lily. "She has liked you from the time she first met you so I thought you would be her perfect match" She said. Lily walked over to Indago and nuzzled her
