Liam let himself through the gate into his parent's farm. Today was the day that Cici and Avice would be quickly transported to Hogwarts, where they would stay over the summer, it was too risky to stay in their flat these days. Although Liam had not told his wife this, their flat had already been broken into by Death Eaters, only confirming that they had targets on their backs. As he opened the door to the tiny cottage he was greeted by his mother. "Liam, dear!" she said happily, "she's in the sitting room."
"Thanks, mum," said Liam, smiling at his sweet mother, and then slipping into the appropriate room. "Cici," Liam called softly as he rounded the corner, looking for his wife and daughter.

"Right here, Liam," Cici responded softly, as not to wake Avice. Or at least she thought the baby was asleep, she had settled her down to nurse a while ago, but she had stopped a few moments ago. Cici patted the couch beside her, gesturing for her husband to sit down. Although she worried constantly being detatched from the world like she was, Cici wouldn't deny she had needed the rest. For sanity's sake.

Liam grinned when he saw his wife with little Avice, although their daughter was now almost four months old it was still surreal to think that he was a father. It had been hard, staying at Hogwarts while his family was in the Irish farm, but now they would all be under the same roof. True to his wife's request, Liam sat down, draping his arm over her shoulders after giving her a gentle kiss. "Hello, love," said Liam.

Cici smiled, leaning against her husband. It had been a long while since she had seen him last, but times were hard, Hogwarts needed all hands on deck. Which was why she was eager to return. That and she was losing her mind on the farm, she had been there for nearly a year. "Here, hold your daughter," said Cici, carefully transferring Avice from the spot on the pillow to her husband's arms. Sure enough, the dark-haired little girl was still asleep.

"Gladly," Liam chuckled, carefully cradeling the baby in his arms. She was so delicate, so pretty. She looked just like her mother, nothing like him at all. Liam allowed Avice to hold on to his finger with her tiny little fists, smiling down at her closed eyelids. Just looking at his daughter was like falling in love all over again. "Have you packed everything? Once our little sparrow wakes up we should get going." Liam said.

Cici smiled as she watched her husband holding their daughter. She couldn't believe how incredibly lucky they were to have little Avice, a darling baby, healthy, even if she was born a little bit early. She wasn't supposed to be able to have children. Cici could only hope that her sister would also have a miracle, and that the condition wouldn't pass to her daughter. "Do you not know me at all?" Cici asked playfully, "I've been completely packed for days, I've just been waiting on you."

Liam offered his wife a toothy grin before giving her a kiss on the cheek, aware of the fact that he had neglected to shave and that his face was probably prickly. "That's my girl," said Liam. He figured that he hadn't needed to ask, after being married for so long he knew Cici well, or at least her habits. "Hogwarts has been missing you," Liam commented, taking his wife's hand.

"As I have been missing Hogwarts," said Cici with an unsteady smile. She felt as if she had not been home in a long time, which was true. The castle was her home, even if they didn't own it. Her job was her life, Cici loved each and every one of the students that came through not only her classroom, but the school. She was more than ready to go back.
