All right guys, on 5 December I'm going to be starting cosmetology school, meaning that from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday I will be in class. My activity is probably going to slow down a lot until I get accustomed to my new schedule but I promise I'll be on as often as I can.

Due to a change of circumstances in my life resulting in neither the time nor the energy to invest in the forum, Hogwarts, a New Era is now closed, this time permanently. For nearly seven years this place has been like home, and its members a second family. I'm sad to see it go, though I also need to move on to the next phase in my life. I'll leave the site unlocked for anyone who wishes to look through it for nostalgia's sake. It's been a great run, guys, love you all. -Jaqi

Unrest in the magical community is continuing to grow- tensions between half-breed activists and pure-blood supremacists are running high. Things may very well be reaching a breaking point.

The weather is beginning to warm as the snows of winter switch to heavy rains of spring. While temperatures are getting milder, sightings of the sun are rare as it competes with the rain and heavy overcast.
