Hayden limped into his cramped studio apartment, he could feel the blood running down his leg from the stab wound he had gotten only a few moments ago. He grunted a bit in pain as he bolted up the door, and then dug his teeth into his lip when he noticed the dark red that had drenched the back of his pantleg and was now oozing sickeningly onto the floor. Hayden drew his wand, and with a quick spell he closed the wound. It became a thick scab, he had never mastered healing wounds completely, just enough so he wouldn't bleed too much.
Still limping slightly, Hayden made his way to the cabinet where he kept his liquor, snatching up a bottle of whiskey and not bothering to grab a glass. He set himself down heavily in the one chair he had, twisting off the cap and allowing himself a hearty swig, the pain was going away now, though he figured he would likely be off his feet for a day or two so he could mend up properly. After he had nursed a comfortable amount of whiskey Hayden pulled out a cigarette from the pocket of his leather jacket and lit it with his wand. He took a long drag on it, finally feeling soothed, or at the very least calmer.
Hayden didn't have long to sit, however, before someone knocked on the door. He felt a combination of irritation and curiosity, he never got visitors, and that evening he didn't particularly want any. He sighed, letting out a breath of smoke. "Who's there?" Hayden called gruffly, remaining stubbornly in his seat. He wasn't going to get up until he was sure he wanted to talk to whomever had decided to come over unannounced.

Domi had a rare weekend off work much to her intense delight. Today had been spent catching up with her family whom she'd missed incredibly, conflicting work schedules had pretty much cut into any family time, they'd all been really busy. Not that she was complaining, Domi was someone who adored her job, she just missed her family as well, and she couldn't help but feel she needed to be with them. So instead of going straight home, Domi instead found herself wandering around London, the streets were almost empty as night began to fall, and about to make her way home Domi had froze, her eyes locking onto a man she hadn't seen in a while, much to her disappointment of course.
With a small smile she went to call out his name, but Hayden quickly began making his way down another street and Domi didn't miss his limp. Really she didn't think anything of it until she got closer to the spot he'd just vacated and she noticed the blood drops staining the pavement. Her eyes widened a fraction and she looked up, immediatley taking off in the direction he'd gone. Taking in her surroundings, she became more aware of the feel of her wand, from it's hidden position in her boot. However ignoring her unsafe surroundings, she breathed a sigh of relief when her eyes spotted Hayden going into a building she assumed was his home and slowly followed him.
Would it be weird her just showing up on his doorstep like this, if she was honest she highly doubted he'd remember her, not that she could blame him. It'd been weeks since the night they'd met in the bar, weeks since that almost kiss, weeks since she'd had to leave the bar to go into work. Shaking her head she reminded herself though she was only here as he was injured, her instincts as a healer forced her to, so without any further hesitation she walked into the Flats, again only knowing where he was thanks to the drop of blood outside the apartment door. Releasing a slow and calming breath she raised her hand and knocked on the door, unable to help the smile on her face when she heard his gruff voice call out. It sent a shiver down her spine, again she shook her head and answered, "It's Domi..." she said, hoping he remembered her and let her in.

The irritation that Hayden had been feeling faded away almost entirely when he heard the response of "Domi" from the other side of the door. He honestly thought that he was never going to see her again, not after that one night in the bare when he had scared off a guy that was coming onto her. "Coming," Hayden called, putting the cap back on his whiskey and perching his still lit cigarette between his lips. With a quick spell he cleaned up his rather messy flat. It still looked cramped owing to the small size, but it was no longer cluttered.
Hayden limped to the door, unbolted it and found himself face-to-face with Dominique, she was just as gorgeous as he remembered, so stunningly pretty. He ushered her inside and then locked the door again. "This isn't the best part of town for a pretty thing like you to be alone in," Hayden commented as his way of asking Dominique what she was doing at his place. How she had found where he lived would likely be his next question, but he didn't feel the need to bombard her. Besides, Hayden did like her quite a bit.
He gestured to the single chair he had for her to sit in, plopping himself down on the foot of his bed. He had hoped that she didn't notice his slight limp too much, but he had neglected to take out the blood stains from the back of his knee down on his jeans. Hayden took a long drag on his cigarette, and then tapped the ask off the end into the tray on his bedside table before turning his gaze back on the woman.

Domi felt a soft smile spread over her lips when she heard Hayden's voice. So either he remembered her or was just extremely polite...she figured it was the former of those two and leaned against the door frame, glancing over her shoulder to look at the empty corridor as she waited for him to open the door. She could here movement inside, and inclined her head back around just in time for Hayden to open the door, and almost instantly she felt her entire body heat up and her heart thunder against her chest.
This man was truly a work of art, unkempt, rough around the edges, but beautiful nevertheless. Realising he wanted her to come inside she pushed away from the door frame and stepped inside the small apartment. It made her smile because for some reason she couldn't have imagined anything else. Remembering why she was here though she turned to face him only to have him usher her to the only chair in the room and comment that it wasn't exactly the safest place for a girl like her. Sitting down, she laid her bag by her side and removed the beanie she wore, "I spent most of my internship treating people down in Knockturn Alley, I can handle myself." she said shooting him a wink and a smile.
As he sat down taking a drag of his cigerette, she looked at him carefully, she'd noticed the limp, expected it from the blood. As he took another smoke, she let her eyes wander down to his leg, frowning slightly her stomach knotting at the blood stain, from the side she couldn't see much but could tell it stained the back of his jeans. Looking back up at Hayden she spoke, hoping he wouldn't brush her off or something, "Your legs pretty bad Hayden, looks like you lost a lot of blood, ...it's how I found you...can I take a look? I don't want to pry and if you don't want to tell me what happened thats your choice but it'd make me feel a lot better if you let me help you." she asked carefully, her eyes on his.

Hayden observed Dominique, not quite sure what to make of her at the moment. Was she interested in him? Surely she must be otherwise she wouldn't have gone through all the trouble to find where he lived. And she didn't strike him as being the creepy, stalker-ish type. Hayden wouldn't lie to himself, he did find her very attractive. Everything about her was seemingly flawless. Perfectly proportioned, that pure blonde hair and those big blue eyes, not a single blemish on her skin. She just seemed like the classic good girl, the kind everyone instinctively loved. The kind that deserved a lot better than an outcast bounty hunter.
Hayden took the last puff of his cigarette before stomping out the end in the ashtray, he was about to ask if he could get her anything, but she had spoken before he had the chance. Granted, Hayden didn't have much to offer anyway. He lived alone, and had since he was seventeen, consequently he never kept much in the realm of foodstuffs in the house. Of course, he was usually stocked on liquor and cigarettes, as well as his favourite kind of coffee which he drank black every morning. But other than that, the fridge was typically bare.
Hayden half-smiled when Dominique insisted that she help him with his wound, it was almost a strange feeling to have someone act genuinely concerned toward him. He supposed that was what he got for isolating himself four fourteen years. "If you insist," said Hayden, knowing he would have more than a hard time refusing someone like her. He rolled up his pantleg, wincing a bit as the fabric passed over the wound he had barely closed up.

Domi felt herself smile softly, her shoulders relaxing when he seemed to easily relent, accepting her offer of help. "I do." she said to him, as she stood from the chair she'd been sat, moving to her knees beside his injured leg, helping him to role up the pant leg. The amount of blood staining the fabric and his leg, didn't sit well with her and she frowned ever so slightly. Biting down on her lip the injury was soon revealed to her and she ever so gently pushed Haydens hand out of her way onto his lap, not wanting to seem rude but she needed to look.
"I see you tried to heal this yourself." she said looking up at him, whilst pulling her wand out of her boot. Shaking her head slightly she performed a quick spell to clean away the excess blood, cleaning the area. The wound was deep, and not fully healed, so she summouned her bag to her, ignoring the bloody now staining her hands, she was too used to it by now, all part of her job. After rifling through it she found the ointment she had been looking for, conjouring a cloth she dabbed a bit in the ointment before gently touching it over the knife wound on Haydens leg. "Just something to fight away infection." she told him, before lifting her wand and fully healing the wound completely.
The only visible signs there'd been any injury was the blood staining his pants, other than that the wound was healed, no scar remaining. Smiling softly she bagged the ointment and placed her wand back into her boot after a quick cleaning spell for her hands, before pushing herself up onto her feet. "Good as new," she said, smiling down at him, as she tucked her hair behind her ear. Not really sure if she had any buisness being here now, she'd done what she had wanted to do, Hayden was now okay. "You may feel a bit sore for the rest of the night, but I think by tomorow you'll have forgotten you were even injured..." she said softly.

Hayden got a strange feeling with Dominique so close, he really did like her a lot. But the concern he felt from her was still foreign, perhaps he had been alone too long. Though Hayden hadn't needed anyone, not since that day when Nikita was killed and he had been left infected with lycanthropy. It had been a whole fourteen years ago, though Hayden still found himself thinking on it from time to time. Occasionally he even felt pangs of guilt for not being able to save his little sister. He was supposed to protect her, but he had hesitated just a second too long.
He watched as Dominique went about fixing him up, offering only a nod when she observed that he had tried to mend it himself. He had lost track of the times that he had needed to be his own healer, Hayden simply didn't have the income to go to St. Mungo's every single time he got stuck with a knife or hit by a hex. Healing wasn't his strong suit, but he could save himself from more serious injury if the need called for it. He was just glad that she was not insistant on him telling her what had happened. That might ruin what he felt to be the small chance he did have with her.
Of course, she probably didn't want anything to to with him anyway. She was just being polite. "Thank you," said Hayden once Dominique had finished, explaining that he was good as new, though he might be a little sore for a few hours. He was no stranger to pain, it was a requirement of his lifestyle. Truth be told he barely noticed it now, though that might have been from the whiskey he had downed earlier. "You're a different kind of person," Hayden commented after a pause, most people stayed the hell out of his way. Granted, he found that useful given his occupation, but the few people that would ever talk to him were different from all the others.

"You're a different kind of person,"
Dominique looked down at Hayden for a moment after he spoke, not really sure in which way she should take his comment, so she shrugged a little, "Thanks...I think..." she chuckled, albeit a little nervously, it was suddenly occuring to her that she may be imposing. Hadn't she only come here to make sure he was okay, she'd made sure he was now, he probably expected her to leave, after all there was no real reason for her to stay, it wasn't as though they were friends, or even aquaintances, they'd met once, though the meeting had been at the forefront of her mind for weeks, she doubted the same could be said for him, men like Hayden didn't go for girls like her, especially when they found out she was a Weasley, as though it was something dirty.
With a small sigh, she took a step back and looked away from Hayden, grabbing her beanie she slid it on neatly over the top of her head. Fixing her hair, so her curls sat neatly over her shoulders, "Well I think my work here is done..." she said, offering him a smile, though she felt nothing but disappointment at the thought of leaving. It was likely she'd never see him again, after all what were the chances she would. For whatever reason she couldn't help but WANT to be around him, WANT to...she shook her head and bend down for her back, straightening and hanging it over her shoulder.
"I'd ask for you to stay out of trouble but...I have a feeling that'd be falling on death ears." she chuckled, shooting him a teasing wink, "Just make sure you take care of yourself okay?" she asked, wishing she had the gall to actually make a move, let him no in some way she wanted him, but she didn't throw herself at men, it wasn't the type of girl she was, no matter how strong the want for someone was, though to be honest she hadn't actually wanted someone like she did Hayden before.

Hayden half-smiled, there was definitely something different about Dominique, something that he found inexpicably attractive. He wanted to know more about her, find out who she was, where she came from. Or perhaps he was only kidding himself, and at any rate he didn't want to drag someone as nice as her into the outskirts of society. Hayden couldn't do that to someone. He had been brought there by force, just because he had gotten bitten by a vile creature through no fault of his own. It wasn't a comfortable place to be, not someplace that he envisioned her wanting to be, even if she was interested in him, which wasn't likely.
Shockingly, Hayden found himself almost disappointed when Dominique began to dismiss herself, though he supposed that the moment could become incredibly awkward if she didn't. Though all the same, he didn't want her to be out in this side of town alone, unless she planned on apparating once she had crossed his threshold. But there were creeps that lived about the area, both muggle and magic, and Hayden felt the overwhelming urge to protect her from them, though she could likely handle herself on her own with any of them.
Hayden chuckled quietly at her last statement, little did she know "trouble" probably summed up his life quite accurately. That sort of come as a packaged deal with the lifestyle he had partly chosen, aand partly been forced into. He stood up, suddenly deciding that he didn't want her to go, not just then. He wanted to be with her, if only for a few more minutes. "Why don't you stick around a while, let me thank you properly," said Hayden, cleverly tying in what she had said to him that night a few months ago in the bar.

Domi narrowed her eyes a little, a smile dancing it's way over her lips as he spoke, using her own words against her, it made her happy that he had remembered that night a little. "Using my own words against me...I like it." she chuckled. When he stood she had to incline her head backwards a little just to look at his face, she almost had to take a step back so she didn't stumble, but managed to stand her ground succesfully. "Though how may I ask do you plan to do that?" she asked, in response to him wanting to thank her, surprising herself with the playful tone of her voice, she hadn't meant for it to come out like that.
She didn't get embarresed easily, luckily so just simply shrugged her comment off and smiled. The offer was tempting, there was no doubt about that. She wanted to stay, she really wanted to remain here with him, maybe get to know him some more, she felt no one actually even tried to do that, which was a shame. Maybe it was the werewolf thing, she knew how uncomfortable it made a lot of people, but she didn't care, it was a part of who he was, simple as. Even so, she figured he was just being polite, though he didn't seem like the type of guy to say something just to be polite.
"I don't want to intrude, you need your rest..." she said, noting he had lost a lot of blood, though she also knew she was giving him an out. If he wanted her to stay she would, no questions asked, but he had the option to just let her go now, and as disappointing as it'd be she knew she'd go, leave him be.

Her smile was radiant, bringing the perfection of her features into what seemed like an even sharper focus. There was no denying that he wanted to have her as a more permanent part in his life, but Hayden hadn't ever really had a relationship before. Not a proper one, anyway, he had slept around a little in his late teens and early twenties, though had always wanted more than just the sex. Hayden wanted to be able to protect and provide for someone, though at the same time he did not want to entirely ruin someone because of that- Domi was innocent, and as far as he was concerned had done nothing to deserve being an outcast like him.
"I hadn't planned that part," Hayden said honestly, "unfortunately I don't really have much to offer." Dominique didn't strike him as being the type interesting in drinks or cigarettes, and that was essentially what he kept handy. He thought he also remembered her saying something along the lines of her not being able to hold alcohol very well. Hayden half-wondered what to say when Dominique insisted that he needed to rest and that she did not want to intrude on him.
"Ain't no rest for the wicked," Hayden said simply, now trying to figure out what he should do, perhaps he should have more thoroughly thought through his plans before asking her to stay for a while longer. Hayden seated himself again at the foot of his bed, gesturing to the chair again so Dominique could sit if she wanted to. "I hope a little talking might work," said Hayden, genuinely wanting to know the mysterious woman.

"I hope a little talking might work,"
Domi observed Hayden for a moment, of course she had no problem with talking. There were alot of times she was asked to shut up for talking too much, but from what little time she'd spent with Hayden, and it was an extremely limited amount of time, she'd come to realise he wasn't much of a talker. Ofte it was her carrying the conversation, feeling she was boring him, like she had on the night they had met. If she was truthful she wasn't that interesting so there wasn't really much to say about herself that he didn't already know. However with a simple shrug of her shoulders she settled back down in the chair, resting her bag on her lap.
"Talking works...though I warn you now I may bore you my life isn't that interesting." she said with a small chuckle. Of course she wanted to know everything about him, but she could tell there were things he wouldn't share, Hayden just seemed like the kind of person who didn't open himself up to others, and she honestly could understand why. He'd been shunned for his condition, it made people wary of opening up to anyone, letting anyone in...if she was honest she wanted to be someone he felt he could do that with. "So...what do you want to know?" she asked.

Now Hayden really wished that he had come up with something of a plan, though Dominique seemed more than capable of holding up her end of the conversation plus a good chunk of his without much effort. He liked that, he needed a talker to counteract his quietness. Just as long as she didn't mind him not talking much. Hayden half wondered what she expected to hear from him, though it gave him time to think about what he would say when she practically volunteered to talk about herself first. Truthfully, Hayden wanted to know everything, but he wouldn't ask for that from her.
Hayden leaned forward a bit, resting his forearms on his knees and keeping eye contact with Dominique. He was genuinely interested in knowing more about her. "Whatever you want to say," Hayden replied simply. He wondered if he should offer her a drink, but then again he reminded himself that she had told him she wasn't much a drinker. He figured that if she wanted something she'd ask for it.

Domi shot a glare at Hayden before smiling slightly and shaking her head, lettting out a small sigh, "You don't exactly make things easy for a girl do you." she joked, laughing lightly before biting down on her lip wondering where she should start. What did she want to say? Well so much really but she figured there was only so much that was appropriate, not that she thought he'd mind if she did say anything inappropriate. There was one thing on her mind, one thing she'd been dying to ask him since that night, one thing she was wondering if she even wanted to know the answer to.
Being who she was though, Domi knew she'd end up asking him, she couldn't help herself, and before she knew what was happening it slipped from her mouth, "Why didn't you kiss me that night outside the bar?" she asked smoothly, sure she'd been summouned to work but there was hesitation before that, not on her part but Hayden's. They'd been so close to sharing a kiss, one she knew would be like nothing she'd experienced before, but he'd pulled back, if he didn't like her in that way it was fine, it'd sting like hell considering how much she thought of him, but she was simply curious.

Hayden half-smiled when Dominique said that he didn't exactly make it easier on her. What he had not been expecting, however, was for her to turn the conversation back on him by asking why he hadn't kissed her that night at the bar. Truth be told, he had been asking himself that same question, though only recently had come to any sort of a conclusion about it. Though her question made him feel exceptionally hopeful, perhaps this meant that she might have interest in him after all. Hayden straightened his expression, eyes watching the blonde before him to see her reaction to what he decided to say after a short pause.
"Girls like you deserve better than guys like me," Hayden said, tone as normal as ever, suggesting that he had come to terms with the fact- and wasn't hoping for anything to come of it. Though he wanted to have Dominique in his life, Hayden wasn't sure if he could bring himself to taint her reputation like that. She was innocent, hadn't done anything wrong, and was undeserving of having his lifestyle forced upon her by association. But Hayden probably wouldn't do well with not seeing her again.
