{(I PROMISED I'D NEVER SING OF LOVE)} if it does not exist It wasn't too busy, thankfully, at the small baby shop Vivian had found. It was apparently some well-known brand that carried a number of items that she needed and would need in the next few months. It was getting so close for her baby to be born, and she was excited. She probably would've been beyond thrilled about it, but the events of the past month had put a harsh dampener on her emotions as it did for most everyone she knew. Hogwarts wasn't planned to officially open until the next week, so the werewolf was taking the time to purchase the much needed supplies that she had been putting off. She only had a little over three months left to get everything ready for her baby girl. She had finally decided on a name, one that Quinton had long ago mentioned, but she hadn't put much thought into it at the time.
But, now that the boy was gone forever, that name had always been on her mind. He seemed to have liked it, and while at the time the werewolf had been a bit unsure about it, she had no doubt in her mind that it would be the perfect name. She hadn't told anyone about it, though. At least, not yet. She wondered what the others would think about the unique name and she wanted it to be a bit of a surprise as well. But, knowing her, she would probably give it away soon enough. As she was walking through the shop of the Mothercare store, she was going back and forth between two cribs. One was a Deluxe Gliding Crib that was a rather bulky but had well built structure to it. It had an interesting rocking motion of simply sliding from side to side with hardly any kind of rocking movement to it. The other one was much simpler looking, but it still held that nice touch to it. This one had more of a swaying rocking to it and the lock to it seemed simpler than the on on the deluxe version. Now, it was the price that was causing her problems.
Her family wasn't exactly flowing with money and the Deluxe crib was a high-priced piece of furniture. The other one was much cheaper, but Vivian wondered if the Deluxe would really be worth the extra money. As she looked from one crib to the other, her hands gently and unconsciously ran over her swollen midsection, her fingers tracing small circles over her shirt. It was a bit of a habit she was getting into by then and she would do it practically all the time. Her mother was there with her as well as Lexi, which was a great help. But, her mother was preoccupied at the moment looking at little outfits for her granddaughter. It was a bit amusing really. Vivian's mother had been quite hesitant about the idea of having a granddaughter so early, but now she was just as excited as the brunette if not more. Letting out a faint sigh, she slowly turned around to look at the red-haired girl behind her, needing help with the decision. "Hey, Lexi, I need help. I can't decide on which one to pick."

Lexie smiled brightly before placing another cuddly teddy into the crook of her arm, already carrying a basket full of clothes, blankets, little shoes. Really bringing her shopping probably hadn't been a good idea on Vivian's part though she was glad her girl-friend had invited her, Lexie was literally in her element shopping. Finally she felt okay about being so excited about the baby. Ever since the attack she'd been more reserved than normal, and busy taking care of Vivian, the loss of Quinton was still fairly fresh but today the brunette seemed okay. So that was why Lexie didn't hold any guilt about her excitement going into overdrive upon entering the small baby stall.
Her excitement seemed to rival Vivian's Mum's who was off collecting more outfits for the angel growing inside of Vivian. Lexie giggled and shook her head as she heard Vivian's voice and with a slight skip in her step she began making her way towards the brunette. "Oooh pretty..." she said, that had kind of become her catch phrase today. "I like the rocking one...hang on a minute..." she said, leaning down and pressing her ear against Vivian's rounded stomach, "Yeah...you think?...well I happen to agree...okay I'll tell her.." she said, standing back up and smiling at Vivian, resting her hand on the crib.
"Peanut said she likes the rocking one..so we have to get that one..." she said with a shrug of her shoulders and a playful wink. Leaning forward she pressed a kiss to Vivian's cheek. "Which one were you leaning towards beautiful?"

{(I PROMISED I'D NEVER SING OF LOVE)} if it does not exist As she watched her girlfriend, a faint, somewhat false smile slid over Vivian's lips. That was one of the remaining scars of the attack that didn't seem to be getting any better. Her smiles weren't as genuine as they had been before the attack. Her smiles had always held a sense of joy and excitement no matter what the reason was for her smile. But, now, the smiles that she gave were only a shadow of what they used to be. Every once in awhile there would be a smile that would show up that would hold some kind of happiness, but it was a rare thing for the time being. Watching Lexi, she chuckled faintly as she once again heard the two words that had been repeatedly said by the girl. She swear, everything was pretty to the girl. As she began to talk of her preferred crib, Vivian opened her mouth to say something before her girlfriend spoke up again.
With a faint blush as the red-haired girl pressed her ear against her pregnant belly, she giggled faintly as she lightly ran her hand through Lexi's hair as she watched her with amusement. The girl was always so loving in that way and she was apparently 'talking' to her baby all the time. Laughing faintly as the girl told her what her baby girl had 'told' her, Vivian lightly shook her head, smiling a bit more as the girl kissed her cheek. "Oh, then we definitely need to get that one then."
, she teased, looking back up at the two cribs. "I was kind of think of the same one since it's cheaper, but the other one is a deluxe. So, it probably better than that one...Though, I guess I don't really need all of that extra stuff...I don't think it even has that much extra things to it...", she said, more talking to herself than anything else. She stood there for a few moments before finally making up her mind. "Yeah, lets get the rocking one. Deluxe is over-rated anyways.", she said with a small laugh before she looked over at the girl, finally seeing all that she was carrying. "Jesus, girl. Did you want to get anything else for the baby?", she teased, though she had a feeling that Lexi would probably try to look more things if given the chance. "The deluxe just means more expensive...I mean the rocking one is so pret...beautiful and simple, plus with the stuff I snagged today it'll be perfect." she said with a nod and a smile, resting her chin on Vivian's shoulder, and rubbing a soothing circle on the girls back. She missed her girl-friends smiles, sure she still smiled but there was never really any emotion behind it and it broke her heart every time. Quinton was gone and his loss was devastating, by some miracle Lexie herself hadn't died, all she was left with was a scar from the attack, but Vivian, Vivian had changed and if Lexie was honest she didn't like it. All she wanted was the old Vivian back, and she was working hard to remain happy and upbeat if only to try and encourage Vivian to feel the same way.
At the comment of what she had bought Lexie pulled back and looked into her rather large, over flowing basket and gave a shrug. "Actually I was hoping to go back to the outfits but your Mum warned me away..." she said playfully waving at Vivian's mum who chuckled, shook her head and looked away from the girls. "She seems to think I may have a problem but we need to be prepared, your carrying a little girl, a Princess she needs a tonne of stuff...plus..." she placed the basket down and rumaged through it before pulling out the cutest little pair of baby booties. "Look how tiny these are...can you really blame me?" she giggled, playing dress up with the little angel was going to be incredible, Lexie couldn't wait.

{(I PROMISED I'D NEVER SING OF LOVE)} if it does not exist Vivian couldn't help but laugh faintly as she lightly shook her head, glancing up at her mom for a moment before looking back at Lexi. It was funny, really. If it had been up to her, then her daughter wouldn't have even close to this many pieces of clothing. But, she knew that having only a few outfits wasn't an option for her when she had Lexi and her mother. She just knew that they would both be dressing up her little girl in dresses, skirts, and God knows what else. But, she wasn't going to stop them. Even though she would never personally wear something like that, she would love to see them on her daughter. As she looked down at the little booties, the werewolf raised an eyebrow at the girl, lightly tilting her head.
"Shoes already? She's not going to be walking any time soon, though."
, she said with a chuckle, taking the booties from the red-head's hands and looking at them. Yes, they were cute, but she never quite understood what the point of them were for newborn babies. Perhaps it was just a fashion thing going around? Either way, they were cute, and seeing how small they were reminded Vivian just how small her baby girl would be. She didn't seem that small, though. At least, not to her as she was the one who had to constantly carry her around in her womb, which was a tiring thing. Lightly laughing again, one of her rare, genuine smiles slid onto her lips as she looked up at the girl, carefully leaning over and kissing her on the cheek. "But, I'm sure they'd look adorable on her.", she eventually added before lightly wincing, sharply inhaling as she felt her daughter move, hitting a bit of a sensitive spot in her side. Lexie rolled her eyes before leaning into Vivian, resting her chin on her girl-friends shoulder and taking one of the booties in her hand. "They're not shoes, really they'll just keep her teenie weenie baby feet all snuggled and warm." she said with a smile. To say she was excited was an understatement, she already adored the baby and she wasn't even here yet. Lexie found herself smiling brightly when she looked at Vivian, seeing a genuine smile highlight itself on her beautiful girl-friends face. It was a rare thing, and she got a kiss on her cheek to top it off. "Of course they'll look adorable, they're tiny." she pointed out again, laughing softly and feeling her chest flutter at the thought of meeting the baby.
Hearing her girl-friend inhale sharply, Lexie looked up in time to see the wince and her face contorted in worry. "Vi sweetie you alright?" she asked softly, her hand reaching out to touch Vivian's arm. Placing the basket down beside her so she could direct all her attenion onto the brunette in front of her. She was worried, really she had no idea what to expect when Vivian finally did go into labor, and with the date drawing steadily closer Lexie found her nerves even more frayed than before. "Do you want to sit down? We can leave if you want...?" she asked her, lovingly tucking a strand of Vi's hair behind her ear.

{(I PROMISED I'D NEVER SING OF LOVE)} if it does not exist It took a few moments for the pain to fade away, and Vivian was more than happy when it did. With her baby girl growing more each day, that also meant she was getting stronger, too. So, it was no surprise that her kicks were becoming more of a nuisance now. Especially when she would kick a muscle or something like that. It could hurt like hell, really. But, it would be all worth it in the end. Lightly holding onto Lexi as a sense of balance, the werewolf lightly shook her head as she asked if she wanted to leave the shop. "No. No, I'm fine, love. She's just beating me up right now."
, she said in a bit of a teasing tone. But, the pregnant teen did take up her offer on sitting. Thankful to be in the furniture section of the store, there were a number of rocking chairs nearby that she could happily sit on. Taking the girls hand, she led her over to one of the chairs, sighing as she sat down in one of the well-padded ones available. "God, she's really becoming a handful already.", she said with a weak chuckle, her hands running over her large midsection.
