Apollo adjusted the flowers, which were meant to look as if they were nonchalantly tossed onto the bed on his way back into the room. For some reason his usual state of dissaray was hard to achieve. After a good long round with the bartender downstairs, he had finally convinced him that this was indeed his room and he was indeed in need of a key, after having given Amadeus the original. Knowing Amadeus, he would never take the hand out he had offered, but it put what little conscious Apollo had to rest.
He let out a groan of frustration, picking the flowers up again and backing up to the door. He strode into the room, tossing them onto the bed, where they finally looked like just another part of his disheveled, yet personal room. With a final look of affirmation he threw himself back on the bed, kicking off his boots and reaching for a book he kept on the night stand. Weasleys always did appreciate a man of intelligence.
His eyes flickered to the clock, unsure why he was so anxious. This would be as any other day. In she would walk, wearing that hot uniform, and out would pop Apollo's smile. Perhaps it was his imagination, but he could swear every day her skirt was shortening every time she came in. He wasn't sure why he had yet to simply throw her down on the bed and show her what she was missing out on, but for some reason he was enjoying the intoxicating game of cat and mouse. That had to be it.
He flipped his bangs out of his eyes, which tumbled carelessly back into place, only reaffirming his rock-star look as he opened up the book to a random page, skimming it with nothing but a passive interest. His ears were really trained on the door, waiting to really begin. This was just another day on the job.

Perenelle was technically off of work for the day. She'd gotten the day off to attend a little gathering with her mother and father. It was dull and dreary, but she was happy to be around her family. Regardless of the size of the Weasley brood, she enjoyed her family members. They usually treated each other well... Still, Perri was returning to the job. Unbeknownst to everyone, she had been keeping Apollo's room clean off of the clock. For whatever reason, she wanted to please him especially, out of all of the other patrons she dealt with. To her, Apollo topped them all.
She wondered if he noticed that she visited his room to tidy up, even when she wasn't on duty. Probably not. Her boss wasn't even aware. She was quite skilled at slipping in unnoticed, especially in her street clothes. Tucking her fiery hair behind her ear, she smiled softly. It was a wonder her hair wasn't a dead giveaway to her boss. Granted, her boss was normally passed out drunk behind the bar at this time of day... Perri hurried into the pub, rushing up the stairs.
She doubted that Apollo would be in his room. He had so much to do, it seemed. Still, it didn't really matter where he was. Perri was just planning on tidying up the room a bit before leaving to go home and rest. Biting her lip, she pulled the master key from her pocket, silently slipping into the room. A rare stream of sunlight poured in from the window, and she couldn't help but smile. Without looking up, she hurried into the room. It would be easier for her to simply get in and get out. However, she stopped short when she noticed a pair of feet propped up on the bed.
Looking up, lips parted in surprise, Perri jumped back a little. Apollo was in, after all. Perri flushed deeply, anxiously tucking her hair behind her ears. "Oh my, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you'd still be in! I come in and check on your room occasionally and... wow, this is embarrassing. I'm so sorry!" Perri apologized sheepishly, smiling awkwardly at Apollo.

Apollo looked up at the sound of the door, a grin spreading across his lips. He set the book aside, watching her as she spun around, eyes wide and lips parted in surprise. A lot more surprised than she should have been when he had only been just another customer, and she just another maid. His grin widened as he scooted forward, listening to her stumbling spiel. He was sure that he could see that trace of pink that filled her cheeks whenever he was around. It was almost too delicious for him to stand.
"No, love! No worries!" He let out a practiced laugh, head tilting slightly. His eyes flickered over her, unsure he had ever seen her in anything but that maid uniform. "As long as you're here, might as well keep me company," he nodded to the flowers. "Got those for you while i was out...The red roses reminded me of you," his gaze lingered deliberately on her as he sat up, biting his lip slightly as he did so.
For some reason he felt today needed to be the day to secure her trust, especially in the way that was what made all of this worth while. Sure, doting on her and telling her all those things women loved to hear would have her leaking every last piece of information he could ask for....But he needed a little something more. But for some reason, that needed to happen before. Preferably now...

Perri stood there, feeling rather stupid. This was highly unprofessional, showing up into his room without the knowledge of Apollo or her boss, for that matter. She lacked the proper uniform. The redhead suddenly became exceptionally self-conscious. Apollo had never seen her in anything other than her uniform, had never seen her hair down, free-flowing around her shoulders. In the back of her mind, Perri hoped that he liked what he was seeing. She really had become quite infatuated with the Malfoy. He was sweeter than could be, kind-hearted, and just a generally wonderful person.
"No, love! No worries! As long as you're here, might as well keep me company. Got those for you while I was out... The red roses remind me of you."
Perri flushed an even deeper red, if that were at all possible. Her, keep him company? It made her feel all giddy and warm inside. It was as if they were good friends, rather than simply an employer and his employee. Her eyes followed his gesture towards the delicate roses on the bed. She stepped forward, gently picking each one up. They were extremely beautiful. They reminded him of her? What did that mean? Perri hoped that she would find out, for Apollo was becoming more alluring by the second.
"Th-thank you, Sir... uhm, I mean, Apollo," Perri replied, placing the roses in a vase full of water that lay on the table. She turned to him, tucking her hair anxiously behind her ears, showing off her shining, amethyst earrings. That was still something she had to work on, calling Apollo by his first name rather than "sir" out loud. Biting her lip, Perri looked at Apollo. "Are you sure you'd like me to stay? I'm sorry to come here off-duty, but I just like making sure this room is perfect for you..."
