History: Ever since she was born, she has never knew her parents. Her father, being a vampire, had quickly left before her mother had even known she was pregnant. But, it had been a difficult pregnancy, and her mother Linda unfortunately died in childbirth. The half-vampire wasn't alone, though. With the death of her sister, Elizabeth gladly took Rose in, giving her mother's name for her middle name. She was the 'second-born', her adoptive mother already having a four year old son. Life was pretty comfortable for awhile. Her 'mother' loved her liked her own child and her brother Drew spent a lot of time with her as well.
As she grew, though, she never knew of her really parents or her 'species', believing she was like everyone else. She grew sick often, though, in her young years, having always had a lack of proper nutrition as her 'mother' failed to understand her need for blood. It wasn't until a near-death experience of malnutrition was it finally explained and fixed. Not even considering the thought of human blood, Rose was quickly put onto a diet of animal blood, supplied by her 'dad' on his hunting trips. Once she was six, Elizabeth finally, but reluctantly, told her the story of who and what she really was. It came as a bit of a shock to the girl and she was very withdrawn from most everyone. But, the news of having a younger sibling was something that encouraged her to come out once more.
As she grew older she learned to deal with her blood cravings and gradually came to forget the distress of being a half-breed as some seemed to call her. She was happy with her family either way, and life seemed to have gotten better when she was given a letter to join Hogwarts. She was thrilled, having never been in an actual school since her 'mother' had always been nervous to send her out with others and had home schooled her. But, that came with a price as she soon found out how socially inadequate she was. Her first year had, in her mind, been horrible. People weren't as kind as her parents and siblings, and the comments and taunts she received began the development of her own rude and mean attitude towards others.
MUGGLE WORLD
[/blockquote]Alias: Vivian
RP Experience: about 5-6 years, give or take
RP Sample: Roleplay post from We're Falling FastThe small rocks of the island crunched beneath her worn, dirtied shoes, which pretty much went well with what the werepire was wearing. Her jeans were torn at the knees and their were splotches of mud along the front and back of her legs, her shirt was stained from a variety of things, but she at least had that covered with a black hoodie that seemed very dusty and wrinkled, having the hood pulled over her head. It had been awhile since she had gotten any decent clothes, having lived in a wooden shack for...well, even she wasn't quite sure. After what had happen in the city, Vivian had fled in a sense of panic and ruin. Whatever had happened to the old her had left, and even know there were still pieces missing. There had only been one thing that had saved from losing herself for good.
The teen had been found by Eckhard Diederich, an old family friend, that she had assumed had long since passed. He had been a close friend of her mothers even after she had been banished from the vampire clan. She didn't know too much about him, but he had been her savior. At first, no, he seemed like anything but that, the first few months torture in her mind. He had locked her up in a cell, constantly injecting her with vervain to keep her weak. He fed her nothing, having her almost to the brink of starvation before he began giving her small doses of animal flesh as she had once consumed. Eventually, the werepire's bloodlust faltered as he continued with the process. He had brought her back in control once more, though her mind was still broken and damaged. Even though the beast in her had been beaten back, the memories still haunted her.
The toll it had on her showed through the dark circles that rested beneath her eyes, the nightmares having her up late at night as she struggled to sleep. He had helped her though, and had better her control around blood. At least, that was how it seemed when she was with the older vampire. She still didn't trust herself; she feared herself. She had already caused enough damage from her single lash out, and she was terrified of doing it again. After her had let her go on her way, Vivian had remained hidden in the wood. She had kept to herself in her lupine form, eating scarcely which led to the thinning of her form. Her weight was still relatively healthy, but the bones of her joints were noticeable now, something that hadn't happened before.
With her multicolored eyes staring at the Tower she had once called home, Vivian just stood there, unsure as to what to do any more. She had come here to...to do what? She could easily say the excuse was that she wanted to see her twins, but it wouldn't have been the entire truth. She wanted to be with her friends once more, though she knew that there was a higher chance that they'd chase her off rather than accept her once more. But, she expected nothing more than that after what she had done. The werepire swallowed hard as she held her hands at her sides, her arms trembling faintly in fear. What would they do when they saw her again? Would they even let her see Derek and Jasmine again? And, what of Athena? ...what would she do...?
