Distinguishing Features: Samantha has her ears pierced once on the lobes and a handful of small, mostly insignificant scars in various places. She does, however, have a long, thick scar on her left shoulder blade that she typically keeps covered.
Dressing Style: Given that she doesn't have much in the way of resources, Samantha has to be both frugal and inventive in the way she dresses. Most all her clothes are second-hand, though over the years Sam has developed a keen sense of style to hide the fact. She's quite feminine, with a liking for things on the girly end of the spectrum- she nearly always wears dresses or skirts. She is beginning to dabble a bit in makeup, though opts for light and simple. Sam doesn't have much jewelry, but the few things she does have are dainty and delicate.
PERSONALITY
Personality Description: Samantha is a mostly timid girl, passive to a fault and easily frightened. If it weren't for her veela heritage she would likely be entirely unremarkable. Sam is notably fragile, her emotions are easily toyed with and it doesn't take much to upset her, making her a decidedly weak person. She is, however, quite empathetic, because of her emotional nature she finds it easy to connect with others, at least other girls. Samantha has a deep mistrust of men and easily closes up around them, becoming even shier and near-mute.
Sam isn't the smartest girl around, at least not when it comes to books and classes, but her street and social smarts are impeccable, she thinks quickly on her feet and has a sharp sense for reading people. A pacifist by nature, Samantha will do most anything to keep the group content, even if it means sacrificing her own happiness. She is most definitely a dependent personality, Sam is nearly incapable of functioning without her older sister- and is terrified at the idea of ever being without her.

History: Frank was a bitter man who was never successful in love, that was until he met a veela called Violette on an extended holiday to France. He was instantly taken with her, and ignoring the advice of well-meaning friends and loved ones, committed himself to her. Their relationship was always rocky- Frank doing anything he could to please the eternally unsatisfied Violette, while she continued to do whatever she wanted. Against all odds, the pair produced two children, a daughter they named ___, and two years later, Samantha. Shortly after she was born, however, things between her parents came to an abrupt end.
Violette up and left, deciding she was bored of Frank and did not wish to be a maternal figure to her daughters. Emotionally effected and growing ever more bitter, Frank returned to his native Wales to raise his daughters alone. Broke and without any ties to family or friends after his love affair with Violette, Frank slowly evolved into a figure of fear for Samantha. He drank heavily and became abusive, looking upon his daughters with resentment, blaming them for the loss of the love of his life.
Samantha drew particularly close to her older sister as she grew up, and the pair found comfort in each other when they couldn't in anything else. Things took a turn for the worse when her elder sister was sent to Hogwarts- leaving Samantha alone at home with their father who was about to take his abuse to a new level. Frank began selling time with his youngest daughter, finding it an easy way to make quick money, regardless of the mental and physical damage it brought to Samantha. She was bullied into not mentioning it to anyone, not even her sister, and for fear of more damage, kept her mouth shut.
It was two very long years of pure hell before Samantha finally got her own Hogwarts letter and was finally able to get away from Frank and the strange men he allowed to violate her. Samantha, however, found school a challenge of a different sort. She struggled to no extent with every subject, barely scraping by to pass her exams at the end of each year. Socially, she wasn't much better. Her fear of the opposite sex and her emotional dependence on her sister made it difficult to find friends, though Sam managed the best she could.
Now into her fourth year, Sam is still struggling, and is waiting for her older sister to finally be old enough to take them away from their father.
