Distinguishing Features: Scarlett has a tattoo on her left shoulder, which is a circle of roses and thorns around a quote saying, "One may live without bread, not without roses." as a bit of a joke in regards to her last name. She also has a small tattoo on her right ankle of a music note, as well as a semi-colon tattooed on her left wrist. Other than the tattoos, she has few scars and blemishes on her skin. She keeps her skin rather smooth and moisturized, just in case she wants to get more tattoos (little things she rather enjoys). Her hair is very thick and wavy and it seems impossible to manage, but Scarlett manages to tame it in elaborate updos and braids when she wants to. She also loves wearing it down around her shoulders when going for a more casual look. She has an unusual figure, being thin but having a little bit of curve and her face is very angular, looking fairly regal when she messes with her make-up.
Dressing Style: Scarlett dresses kind of all over the place, not really sticking to one specific style. She'll wear jeans and t-shirts or skirts and blouses depending on her mood and on the weather. She likes heels but is just as comfortable in sneakers or boots. She loves dresses when dressing up and rarely will be caught in slacks at a formal event. She loves jewelry and will wear just about anything in regards to jewelry, dressing it up or down as needed. She prefers Muggle clothing to the robes of witches and wizards, though will wear them when she absolutely has to.
PERSONALITY
Personality Description: Scarlett is the embodiment of a Gryffindor. She is brave and bold, sticking up for her beliefs fiercely and not allowing anyone, man or woman, to get in her way. She would much rather be alone and strong in her beliefs than with someone who compromises who she is as a person. Scarlett doesn't really have a filter when it comes to her words; she says whatever she wants, when she wants. It's a bit of a bad habit and has gotten her a bit of a reputation as a bitch, but she doesn't really care all that much. Scarlett is proud of who she is and wouldn't give it up for anyone or anything. She embraces her sexuality as well, though not in the way that one would expect. She's a person who doesn't really identify with masculinity or femininity, finding a happy, androgynous medium. She can act like a tomboy or like a lady, but it's typically a mixture of both. Her sarcastic wit can get her into trouble with her teachers, but she really is a bright student.

History: Vanessa and Algernon met prior to Vanessa graduating from Beauxbatons. She was seventeen, he was twenty-two. She immediately moved from France to England, having gotten a job apprenticing Ollivander as a wand-maker. She'd met Algernon coming back from work one night, with him being a Ministry intern hurrying back from the job. The pair went to a pub to get to know each other and the rest went fairly quickly. The pair eloped and quickly starting attempting to have children. After Algernon was appointed a low-level Ministry position and Vanessa climbed into the ranks and became one of the head wand makers in Ollivander's (Vanessa was now 25, Algernon was 30), they gave birth to Scarlett. Her younger brother and sister came rather quickly after she was born, finishing off their tight-knit family unit.
As Scarlett grew, she showed the strongest inklings of magic in her family. Being bilingual and with her mother having graduated from Beauxbatons, Scarlett received a letter from both schools. In the end, Vanessa and Algernon agreed that they would send their children to Hogwarts, given Algernon's love for the school and the location of both of their jobs. While Scarlett didn't receive the artistic education that she would have received at Beauxbatons, she learned to appreciate all of that. At Hogwarts, she was Sorted into Gryffindor. The House and the lack of etiquette training that Scarlett received are partly to blame for her brazen behavior, but she wouldn't have it any other way.
