Scarlett wandered around the school aimlessly, not quite sure what the day was going to hold for her. It was a Hogsmeade weekend, one of which she had chosen to not participate in. Normally she enjoyed going out to the small village with her friends, but something was commanding her to stay inside that day. She rather enjoyed the emptiness of the hallways during the Hogsmeade weekends, preferring it to the everyday hustle and bustle that regularly occurred. Something about the silence was attractive to her that particular day.
Exploring was a fun hobby of hers. If she wasn't writing or running, she was probably scouring the school for secret passages and hidden doors. All of her homework was completed, she had lost any and all inspiration in regards to writing, and it was far too cold outside for her tastes to run comfortably in. Therefore, Scarlett had decided to wander around. There wasn't anything in particular she was looking for, but that was part of the fun. Striding through the long and empty hallways made her incredibly happy.
Eventually, her feet carried her in front of the Room of Requirement. It was a place that she'd discovered her first year at Hogwarts merely by accident. Not many people her age had found it back then, making it a fun little getaway for Scarlett from her peers. Pacing in front of the door calmly, she allowed her mind to wander, letting the room sift through her subconscious projections and pick a workplace for her. It was hit or miss, but it was better than deciding on one thing that she wanted the room to create.
Pushing open the door, Scarlett grinned to herself. The room had essentially duplicated the little shop in the back of Ollivander's complete with everything she needed to shape the wood of a wand. She cursed herself for not carrying around the cores that she typically kept on her person, but it wasn't a huge deal. There was some wood to be carved and she could always insert the cores later. There was a small section for wand work and spell casting off on the side. Scarlett made her way there and grinned, pulling her wand out of her leather jacket and lightly waving it around.
Brightly colored bubbles began flowing from her wand, causing Scarlett to laugh out loud. She'd been working on wordless magic for a little while. It was harmless stuff, nothing too large. It was simply for fun to start with. Once she got the hang of little charms, like the one producing the bubbles from the tip of her wand, then she'd start working on offensive spells, then defensive spells, perhaps even wordless transfiguration eventually. The prospect was exciting. Scarlett continued to create the bubbles, practicing in making them all different sizes, not realizing that the door to the room was slowly creaking open...

Jack was bored. And when he was bored he tended to get into trouble, he didn't do well with not having anything to do. Of course, there were things that he could be doing, like homework, but he wasn't really in the mood. He figured on Sunday he'd go to the library and bully a Ravenclaw into letting him copy theirs like he usually did. He'd slept in late that day, to the point where the group that went to Hogsmeade had already left for the day. Jack could have followed, being of age did give him the benefit of being able to come and go from the grounds as he pleased, but not even getting drunk in the pubs or finding a hookup sounded particularly appealing. Maybe it was the cold, or the fact that he had another, more fun outlet for his sexual desires.
Jack didn't realize that he had subconsciously been looking for Harlow until he had combed through most of the castle and wound up on the sixth floor, finding that the places he'd usually seen her before to be empty. Jack knew it was wrong, taking advantage of the girl, but he didn't care. He liked the feeling it gave him, conquering her time and time again made his already over-inflated ego swell. And there was literally no danger, she was petrified of him, she wouldn't tell anyone. Not even that weird Hufflepuff kid with the mismatched eyes she always hung around. Jack didn't even know the boy's name, but he and his cronies bullied him anyway. There was a lot to work with, Harlow's little friend was odder than she was.
Sighing, Jack figured that Harlow had gone to the village for the day, or at the very least had found a new spot to hide from him that he had yet to discover. He looked up to discover that he had been pacing, in time to see the door to the Room of Requirement materialize. He shrugged before grasping the handle and letting himself in. He hadn't been wanting a room in particular, he'd simply been looking for a bit of fun. The room definitely was already in use, he'd never have it make a setup like this, it was almost a workshop of sorts, and then he laid eyes on who had conjured it and smirked a little.
Scarlett Rose, a fellow Gryffindor in his year, and one of the few girls he had yet to seduce. "Yet" being the keyword in his mind, it was no secret that the girl was attractive. Confidently, Jack walked up to her, prodding one of the bubbles she had wordlessly produced. It yielded to him, curving to accommodate his finger instead of popping like a normal bubble might. "Impressive bit of magic there," said Jack, looking over at Scarlett and giving her one of his signature winning smiles- the ones that typically made the girls swoon at his feet.
