"I know you do," said Levi quietly in her ear, still smoothing her lightly curly hair. He could hardly imagine what it would be like for your parents to just suddenly be taken from you, no longer there. It seemed almost a given that your mum and your dad would always be there, yet for Raychel, they weren't. In light of these events, Levi had written to his father, trying to patch their somewhat rough relationship.

Raychel held Levi gently for a while. The tears had long since stopped, but his arms were so inviting. If she could stay there forever, should would have. Raychel ran her hand through Levi's unruly blond hair gently, her eyes closed. She smiled, her mouth resisting the motion a bit. It didn't look forced, but it felt that way.

"Come now," said Levi, softly letting go so they each had their own space, but the gap between them was rather trivial. "We should be heading back to Hogwarts. If you want we could spend some time in the Room of Requirement." The come and go room was a second, or third, actually, home to Levi. It was hard to think about, not going back to Hogwarts after the conclusion of next term, but Levi was ready to take on the world.

Raychel nodded. She enterlaced her fingers in Levi's. "That would be nice." She replied quietly. Raychel took one longing last look at her parent's bodies. Her heart attempting tugging her back, but she resisted. To be alright, she was going to have to let go. She turned and led Levi out the door. She stopped, disoriented. "I believe it would be best if you lead." She replied slowly.

"Um, okay," said Levi, he didn't mind, but Raychel had never asked that of him before. He walked half a step in front of her as they left and turned down the corridor. Levi left his hand free, so Raychel could grab hold of it for support if she so chose. He looked down as they reached stairs, it was an unconscious habit of his, since he wasn't the most graceful person.

Raychel took Levi's arm as they approached the stairs. She smiled weakly. She knew Levi well enough to know that he was rather clumsy.She grasped his arm, but still followed. Something had changed inside of her. Her insides were twisted, but she was confident that she would get through it.

From the lobby of St. Mungo's they would be able to apparate into Hogsmeade, the rest of the place had anti-apparation charms on it for patient privacy. Levi had passed his test the first time, and although did not care much for the process, he did enjoy the convenience. He paused in the lobby, it was relatively empty, except for the welcome witch that was helping a man breathing purple smoke. Levi looked over to make sure Raychel was still grasping his arm. "Hold on," said Levi, and then focused clearly on Hogsmeade's main street. With a quiet popping noise, they vanished.

The duo landed on the main street of Hogsmeade. Keeping her balance focused, she made sure Levi was not toppling over. When she saw he was fine, she released his arm. Hesitating, she stepped forward once more and laced her fingers in his. "Let's go." She said quietly.

"Sure," said Levi, he had taken a moment to recollect himself after apparation. He did not care much for the sensation it gave him in his stomach and made his knees weak. Levi began to walk, the strange feeling in his body already fading away. He allowed Raychel to hold his hand as they walked. Strangely enough, the weather was comfortable. It was probably around ten degrees, there were a few white, puffy clouds in a crystal blue sky. A gentle, lazy breeze played with his hair as they continued up to the castle.

Raychel had to lean against Levi for support. Something was twisting her insides painfully. She clutched her stomach with one hand, keeping the other in his. She took a shuddering breath, the pain increasing sharply. Something was wrong, but she didn't know what. Raychel inhaled deeply, her stomch contracting harshly. Normally, the process of apparation didn't do this to her. She plastered a smile upon her face, but fear was spreading.

Levi could just feel that something wasn't right, that split second of pain on Raychel's face. He stopped abruptly, looking her directly in the eye. "Is everything all right?" asked Levi. He knew at the time it was a stupid question to ask, his girlfriend was dealing with a ton of crap right now, but she should be able to infer that he meant physical wellbeing.

Raychel looked up, her cheerful countenance gone. It had been replaced with one of fear. She shook her head, in bewilderment. All she could think about was dying. Surely someone had killed her parents to get to her, and they had done it. She tried to think back to drinking or eating something at the hospital, but she could think of nothing. If it wasn't poison, then what? She clutched onto Levi silently, picking up the speed to make it to Hogwarts as fast as possible.

The look on Raychel's face, it wasn't right. Levi was worried about her. He stopped and picked her up, carrying her on his back, not wanting her to strain herself if something really was wrong. Levi walked as quickly as he could without falling, with the adrenaline in his system, any trace of his usual clumsiness completely gone.

Raychel clung to him. That was the only thing she was capable of doing. The more her insides twisted, the more woozy she got. Colors began to blur together, and she became dizzy. "Levi." She moaned. Something was terribly wrong, everything in her body pointed to it. Raychel tried to remain calm, but each shot of pain drove her closer to unconciousness.

"I know," said Levi. "I'm going as fast as I can." As he said this he increased the length of his stride. He didn't know what could possibly be wrong, he had never known apparation to do this to anyone before. Unless Raychel had gotten splinched, left behind something that belonged inside. Levi was practically running at this point. He had gotten up to the doors, and realized he wouldn't be able to open the door like this. A flick of his wand solved that problem.
