Boxes of Blood (Isaac/open)

Gabriella laughed again. "And everyone will be so confused, just like they are now sometimes," Gabriella replied with a smile. She glanced out at the lake, suddenly wanting to go swimming again. It wouldn't tire her out too much, she guessed. "Want to swim?" Gabriella asked.

[malfoy]

"Why not?" said Isaac. He needed to do something, sitting down and watching the world go by didn't hold his attention as long as it used to, everything moved far too slowly for his liking now. He held Gabriella's hand as he got off the rock, smiling. He was so happy to be with her.

Gabriella let go of Isaac's hand gently, reaching for the edge of her shirt. She pulled it off and then her pants as well so that she was only in her underwear and bra. If she wasn't a vampire, she would have been blushing, but right then she looked normal. Gabriella ran for the lake, swimming out deep.

Isaac stripped down to his boxers, then joined Gabriella out in the lake. She must have been embarrassed. It didn't matter to him, she was very pretty, she had no need to feel self-conscious. He smiled as he caught up with his girlfriend. Swimming was great.

Gabriella was soon in the deepest part of the lake, stopping to tread water, her long and wet hair fanned out around her. She breathed in and then sighed contently as she smiled at Isaac. "We should have a diving contest," Gabriella suggested.

Isaac chuckled, since neither of them needed to breathe, they could both probably go all the way to the bottom. "If you insist," said Isaac, preparing himself to dive, although it was completely unnecessary for him to do so. "On the count of three then," Isaac said. "One... Two... Three!"

Gabriella dove for the bottom of the lake, her slim legs kicking furiously, and far faster than anyone else's could have. It was a race to the bottom and she and Isaac were neck and neck, neither of them needing to breathe. Gabriella felt that she could laugh.

Isaac reached the bottom, touching it most likely at the same time that Gabriella did. That had been fun. Maybe one day they could cut class and go down to the bottom of the lake together. Isaac doubted it, since Gabriella was Head Girl, she had to set the example after all.

Little bubbles floated up from Gabriella's mouth as she chuckled on the bottom of the lake. This was weird, and yet amazing at the same time. Gabriella smiled over at Isaac and then pushed off from the bottom, extending her arms above her head delicately as she sped toward the surface.

Well, that had been a very unfair head-start. No chance of him winning now. He sped back up toward the surface, and when his head came above water, he felt that strange sensation. He didn't need to suck in a huge breath of air. Isaac did anyways, though, just to smell what was around him. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Gabriella turned toward Isaac and smiled. So much could be said with silence when she was around him. Gabriella inhaled deeply through her nose, smelling the air as well. She could scent the animals in the forest and a few people wandering around in the front of the castle, but no one was nearby.
