Coming Doom? (open)

Jenna pondered this for a moment before replying to Angel's question. Sort of both, she projected. I control projecting thoughts, but it's a lot harder to control reading thoughts. And blocking my own thoughts I can control, but I have to constantly think about it.

[calcetines]

Angel dove under the water, lazily propelling herself in circles. She could hold her breath a long while as an otter. Dear, it must be dreadfully frustrating to keep up with. I guess you always know what people are getting you for Christmas! Angel thought teasingly.

Jenna laughed out loud as she treaded water lazily with her arms and legs. I try to avoid those thoughts if I can. she projected back to Angel. Jenna dove underwater again, letting the cold wetness soothe her thoughts.

Angel floated beneath the water, jumped slightly when Jenna projected back. She wasn't quite used to receiving thought projections. It was strange, because she had not grown up around Telepathics, Jenna lived with her mother, who despised her father, and her father's side of the family. Whatever. That's good. Angel thought.

Jenna smiled at Angel's most recent thought. She supposed everyone on the Weasley side of the family would think that Penelope hated them. In fact she rather enjoyed them all, but found it awkward to be around them if Percy wasn't there. And if he was it was even worse. Yes, it is good, Jenna replied. Mostly.

Angel resurfaced and quickly took in another deep breath. She dove again, it was better to calm herself under the water anyways. So what would you like for Christmas? Angel thought. She had just enough money to buy everyone on her list something nice. It was the most she could do because she would be in France for the holidays.

Jenna had to ponder this one. In fact, she hadn't even thought about anything to do with Christmas yet. She had been quite absorbed in other things recently. She dove under the water, swimming around, still thinking. How about some nice gloves, Jenna projected. Yes, that sounded nice. She needed some gloves, hers were terribly teared.

Gloves. Interesting. Of course, there would be nothing but the very best she could afford for her family. She would send her parents some nice French wine when she went to visit Wolfgang over the holidays. Favorite color? Angel thought.

Jenna had to ponder this. She liked a lot of different colors, but she supposed blue was her favorite. Light blue, she projected back. There, now I know something that I'm getting. Jenna chuckled slightly as she resurfaced.

[calcetines]

Angel resurfaced once more, floating on her stomach. she made a clicking noise that sounded sort of like a laugh, but not quite because of her animal vocal chords. But it was close enough. Maybe, maybe not. Angel thought teasingly.

Jenna laughed in reply to Angel's clicking noise. Angel could always make a split-second decision right before Christmas, she supposed. Or buy something in France, too. Well, maybe not, Jenna replied cheerfully. Angel was right, swimming did feel really good.

Goodness it's cold, even with my fur. Angel thought, popping back above the surface of the water again and bobbing up and down with the surface rippling. Would you care to head back indoors? she finished.

Jenna shrugged, floating around a bit more. The water was getting a bit colder. Sounds good to me, she projected back, coming back up and treading water. Let's go then. Jenna began swimming toward shore, looking behind her to watch Angel swim.

Angel quickly swam to shore, climbing onto the sand. She concentrated a moment, then was back in her human form, and sopping wet. She removed her drenched wet locks from her eyes and drew her wand to dry herself off with a simple spell.

Jenna stood up on shore and grabbed her wand once more, drying herself off and replacing the swimsuit with her robes. "That was fun," she said, now drying her long and wet hair. Finally she was dry and she stuffed her wand into her robes.
