Jenna shook her head, her eyes wandering back to her unfinished essay that still lay on the small table in the common room. "I have to finish this first," she replied. Even after she finished, Jenna was unsure if she would be able to sleep.

"That reminds me," Angel said, flicking her wand to retrieve her book bag from her dormitory. She pulled out an old leather-bound book, the pages were yellowing with age. It was a book she had to read for muggle studies, Muggles From Medieval to the Sixteenth Century. The Professor was a rather dull one, as was the book, but it did have a ton of information in it. Angel had to read to page 134 by tomorrow. She had twenty pages to go.

Jenna smiled as Angel summoned her book-bag from her dormitory. That was Angel, she always had some homework, or something to be studying. Jenna sat back down on the table and stared at her essay for a moment before picking up her quill and starting to write, her tiny and loopy writing beginning to fill the page.

Angel was normally a fast reader and could have been done with twenty pages in about five minutes, but there was only one problem. Muggles from Medieval to the Sixteenth Century was written in old English, making it a difficult read. If it weren't for the fact that she was reserved, Angel would have killed the muggle studies Professor.

Jenna finished the first piece of parchment rather quickly considering her level of tiredness at this point. Unfortunately, this essay had to be three pages long. Jenna turned a page in her book as she continued writing on the next page. Well, at least there was still a lot more information on the topic, well a lot by her standards.

Angel yawned as she flipped the page, she was so tired that the letters were blending together, making the reading difficult. She rubbed her eyes, and the letters came into a slightly sharper view, but only by a little bit. She ought to go to bed, but she had to finish this tonight.

Jenna was finally understanding what she was writing about now and the essay was now two full pages, and there was still another half page of information in the textbook, plus a few diagrams on the next page. She glanced up at Angel and then kept writing, wondering why this was even important. Well, whatever.

Angel felt herself drifting off to sleep, but then shook her head to awaken herself. She would go to bed as soon as she was finished, but probably end up having another sleepless night, being as fraught with worry as she always was. Angel missed getting a full-night's rest.

Jenna kept writing, a small glance in Angel's direction. Wow, she looked really tired. Jenna sniffled and then glanced at her book, her quill still writing perfectly on the page. The third page was soon filled almost halfway. Jenna picked up her quill and dipped it in the ink again, glancing over at Angel.

Angel could just feel Jenna's glancing at her every few moments. Normally, this wouldn't bother her, but something felt strange about it, seeing as they were the only people in the room, and she couldn't be looking at anyone else. "Can I help you with something?" Angel said wearily.

"You just look really tired," Jenna replied truthfully as she scanned some lines in her book and then began writing once more. "I'm thinking you don't sleep much, Angie." Jenna was now almost done with her essay. Just a little bit more and then she could relax, hopefully.

Angel shook her head. "I haven't sleep soundly since August." she responded. This was the whole truth, she missed getting a full night's rest. Energy potion helped somewhat, but it couldn't make up for lost hours. She needed less work, but she couldn't bring herself to drop any classes.

Jenna nodded. She honestly wondered who had slept soundly in the recent months. Things had been getting worse around Hogwarts, more Death Eater attacks, more schoolwork, the Quadwizard Tournament. Not to mention that Jenna had to study for her N.E.W.T.'s in the spring. "That stinks," Jenna replied sympathetically.

Angel nodded. It did stink. But there really wasn't anything that she could do to fix it at the moment. Then the solution hit her as suddenly as the idea of gravity. She could make a potion for dreamless sleep. The answer was so simple, why hadn't she thought of it before? Angel turned the page and read on, growing more weary by the moment.

Jenna heard the thought coming from Angel's head so loudly it sounded like her cousin had spoken directly to her. "A dreamless sleep potion, that sounds like a good idea to me," Jenna commented with a small smile in Angel's direction, bending her head over her essay as she worked. The third page ended and Jenna pulled out another piece of parchment to finish off the essay.
