"Alec, cheating on you?" Angel said, a bit too loudly. Her own head pounded at the noise she had made. That son of a bitch, Angel would punch him. But Alec did seem like the "player" type, so Angel couldn't say she was too surprised. "And of course Isaac's still practically drooling over you." Angel added.

Gabriella wanted to scream at her and tell her to shut up, but she couldn't do that. "Not drooling," Gabriella said as she looked away again. She could hear Angel's heart pounding and almost feel that she wasn't surprised. "You knew, didn't you?" Gabriella asked, her cold eyes coming sharply back to Angel

Her head was swimming. She grabbed the pillows from behind her and used them to prop herself up. That was somewhat better, at least she didn't feel like she was about to pass out. "I didn't exactly know per say," Angel said quietly, feeling the need to throw up again. "But, Alec seems like that type."

With a flick of Gabriella's wand, a bucket appeared next to Angel. Gabriella looked out the window, thinking of what to say. "Thanks for telling me," she muttered sarcastically. She wasn't too angry, after all Angel probably just wanted her to be happy.

Angel quickly thanked Gabriella for the bucket, then vomited into it. Couldn't she be done throwing up now? She was surprised that there was even anything left in her stomach to throw up. "Forget that jerk, do you still like Isaac?" Angel asked. Her friend was hurting, every time they spoke, Angel could tell Isaac was pining to have Gabriella back.

Gabriella sighed and said nothing for as she Vanished the bucket. She bit her lip, thinking again. "Yes," she moaned in a whisper after several more moments. "Yes, yes, yes I love him. I miss him." Gabriella's hand reached up and pulled her hair back.

Angel held back a smile. They were so happy together last year, perhaps their relationship could re-kindle. "Talk to him sometime. Gabs, I doubt he's changed his socks more than twice since you two broke up." Angel said, light hint of teasing in her voice, while still maintaining seriousness.

Gabriella giggled quietly. "He has his mother for that," she said in the same teasing tone. "I bet she would make him. Does Wolfgang change his socks often enough for you?" she countered, feeling a bit better. She hoped Angel would stay happy with Wolfgang.

Angel gave a small laugh, which made her head pound and stomach churn, so she stopped rather quickly. "Yeah, every day. Surprisingly for a guy. But he is going to be a Healer, sanitation is a priority." she said softly, smiling. She would have added that Isaac's parents hated him, and didn't care if he changed his socks, but she abstained.

Gabriella laughed shortly. "Well, I guess that's a good thing," she replied, smiling at Angel. Gabriella paused for a moment, inhaling and smelling the air. Angel didn't seem to smell like vampire venom anymore. "How are you feeling?" she asked.

"Better, weak, but better." Angel said quietly. It would take her a day or two to get back on her feet again, but she would be all right. "Promise me that you'll never let yourself get that thirsty again. I might not be there for you to bite me next time." Angel said.

"It's okay, I won't," Gabriella promised to Angel. "The nurse has blood for me. I'm going to be coming in here every week to get it. I hope I never have to bite you again, either. It was horrible."

"It was," Angel said, yawning widely once. "But you know, if it meant the difference of life and death, I'd do it a thousand times." This was true, Angel felt this strongly about her friends and family, she would sacrifice herself if it meant sparing the life of someone she loved.

Gabriella shuddered, her golden eyes for once portraying her horror. "I don't think I ever could do it again," she replied quietly. "I wouldn't be able to." Gabriella shuddered again as she looked away from her cousin, Angel.

"Well at least I don't taste good because of my canine roots." Angel said teasingly. She couldn't help but smile. At least she was able to sustain her cousin, Gabriella was her best friend, Angel couldn't even handle the though of losing her.
