Jenna also woke up by the alarm clock. She was almost instantly awake and came forward, shutting off the alarm clock and shrinking it, sticking it inside her bookbag. "Breakfast Angie," she said as cheerily as she could manage while holding an oversized bag full of books.

Angel smiled, then looked down at her crumpled uniform. "Just after I change my clothes." Angel said, then darted upstairs. She changed quickly into fresh uniform and robes, and was tying her blue and bronze tie as she walked down the stairs. She grabbed her bag, staggering a bit under the weight. "Alright, let's go." Angel said.

Jenna gave her a wide grin and then exited through the portrait hole. "What do you suppose we're having for breakfast today?" Jenna asked Angel as they walked down the the Great Hall. Jenna was a bit weighed down by her bag and she supposed she probably should've left a few books in the common room to get later, but it was too late now.

Angel examined the table as she sat down. "Porridge or eggs with ham." Angel commented. She served herself a large bowl of porridge, since she was a vegetarian. Not as strict as Wolfgang was (he was a vegan), but nevertheless, she couldn't stand eating meat.

Jenna crinkled her nose slightly. She hated porridge, but she didn't like to eat meat either. Jenna scooped herself some of the eggs with ham and pushed the ham off, beginning to eat the eggs. They were delicious. "Yum!" Jenna exclaimed happily.

Angel smiled at Jenna, then she quickly ate. She liked to have extra time after eating to drink a cup of coffee or two and read the newspaper. A large screech owl with a Daily Prophet landed in front of her. Angel took the paper and paid the owl. She poured herself a cup of strong coffee, not milk or sugar tis time. She took a sip and looked down at the headline, she almost spit out her mouthful of coffee. The headline blared ANTI-MUGGLE GROUP CRIMES AT AN ALL-TIME HIGH, SIX MUGGLES DISCOVERED DEAD AT A MARKET. Angel read it quickly, eyes wide.

Jenna looked over Angel's shoulder to read the headline. She gasped in surprise as she realized that the ministry was trying to cover up what appeared like another Death Eater attack. Jenna's fork fell onto her plate. "That's just wrong!" she exclaimed, a bit too loudly. People turned to look at her and she gave a small, sarcastic, wave.

"You haven't heard all of it," Angel said, eyes still wide. She forced down another mouthful of coffee, then returned back to the article. "Listen to this; These attacks are even more frightening than last week's murders of an elderly muggle couple. Of the six bodies discovered, five were women. Muggle police-men (law keepers) were perplexed at the Dark Mark in the sky and how the bodies didn't seem to have anything wrong with them, apart from being dead. Further investigation revealed one of the women was sexually assaulted. When the minister was asked what he thought of the situation he merely told our reporter; "Do not worry, we have our best Aurors on the tails of these muggle-haters. There is no reason to panic, they will be caught soon."" ngel read aloud.

"Do they have to cover up everything?" Jenna asked angrily. It was obvious who was behind the attacks. Couldn't the Ministry realize that they had bigger problems than Muggle-haters on their hands. "That's completely horrible. And disgusting," Jenna said after a moment. She stared at her plate, but found herself unable to pick up her fork again.

Angel read the rest of the articles quickly. Most of them contained news of mysterious disappearances, mostly muggles, but a few wizards and witches. She gulped down the rest of her coffee but was unable to finish her porridge. "Of course, because they're idiots. They wouldn't acknowledge a dark wizard if one danced naked in front of them." Angel said in disgust, tore up the newspaper and vanished the pieces.

Jenna would have normally laughed at that statement, but she was far to angry to do so now. "You're totally right," she replied bitterly. "I can't believe that they don't realize things that are right in front of them. Um, hello?! Dark Mark!"

Angel shook her head, then poured herself another cup of black coffee. "They say it's "common knowledge" these days," Angel said, using her fingers to put air-quotes around the words common knowledge. "I don't even know how to conjure one!"

Jenna did, they had learned the incantation in Defense Against the Dark Arts. "You say a funny word like Morsmorde and point your wand at the sky," she said quietly. "But still, no one would do that unless they were a Death Eater."

"Peculiar." Angel said. "The deaths of all the muggles, random wizards and witches disappearing, the dark mark. This was just how it started last time. I don't have a good feeling about our future, Jenna." She bit her lip, this was not good. Not good at all. The ministry hushing it up wasn't a help either.

Jenna shuddered. She didn't have a particularly good feeling either. "I hope it doesn't happen again," she said softly. She didn't know if she could bare to be without the people that she loved. It would be horrible.
