"Okay," said Zelphar, unsure of why Raychel was offering this. He hadn't done anything extraordinary, just what any decent person would have done. Or so Zelphar would think. His faith in the human race on a whole was probably out of proportion, Zelphar generally believed everyone had good in them, the people that did bad things had just been led astray by hatred, or revenge.

Zelphar obviously didn't realize why Raychel was so grateful. She smiled inwardly to herself. "I would have died if you hadn't have found me. I still cannot thank you enough." She replied. Zelphar now ment the world to her now, and she would do anything for him. The thought was sort of embarrassing, but she didn't mind. Raychel smiled broadly at her savior, revealing her newly perfect teeth.

"I only did what any decent person should have done," Zelphar said somewhat bashfully, bright blue eyes looking down toward his shoes. They were an old pair of Converse that he had had for three years; the bright red they had once been was considerably faded, the uppers starting to peel away from the soles. Zelphar needed a new pair, but he was oddly attached to them.

Raychel nodded. She took note of Zelphar's bashfulness, and smiled sweetly. A brief motion at her feet directed her attention away from her hero, and she looked towards the source. Raychel was surprised, and slightly taken aback to find the dark shadow of her tall form was rippling at her feet. She raised a curious eyebrow.
Raychel was normally in control of her ability, although it did slip out of her grasp from time to time. Learned powers were a very finicky thing. Being Bitten must have reversed something in her. She was going to have to relearn control of her ability once more. Mind wandering, she wondered what else would become an issue. Surely being something so powerful was going to be difficult, and the overwhelming urges to kill and mutilate weren't going to make anything any easier. At that slighty depressing thought, Raychel tore open the bag of packaged donor blood and drained it quickly. All that thinking had made her hunger pangs increase.

Zelphar remained quiet, having no idea of what to do. He was exhausted, and would have loved nothing more than to go to bed, but he had lessons today. Zelphar was going to need a ton of coffee; but he wasn't sure what to do with the situation, obviously Raychel was nowhere near being stable enough to go into the masses of students without attacking them all.

Raychel looked up from where she had resumed watching the shadow ripple to see Zelphar barely winning the battle over sleep. She smiled slightly. "Sleep." She purred as she walked over to the blood box once more. Bending over and taking a couple more bags from the box, she snuck a quick glance at the clock. Classes would be starting soon. "I'll send a letter to the staff explaining the situation." She finished, producing her wand. She set it upon the bed and quickly went to find a quill and parchment.
It took her longer than expected to find these items, but she finally found them. Raychel wrote the letter quickly, then used a charm to have the same writing appear on the other sheets. With a tap of her wand, the envelopes flew out the door. With luck, they would be received during breakfast, along with the owl post.

"No; I'll be okay," said Zelphar. "Just need some coffee." He was wary of leaving Raychel alone, but so far she had proved that she could control herself exceptionally well, especially for a newborn vampire. Zelphar had studied them in History of Magic, and Raychel's case seemed to be extremely rare. "I'm going to head to breakfast, unless you need me to stay here," Zelphar said, using his wand to pick up the mess he had conjured over the duration of the night.
