Emily had rather lost her appetite from working around candy all afternoon, but she figured it was well past dinner and she should at least eat something. "Sure," said Emily, then slipped on her cloak and fastened the silver buttons, wincing a bit because of her irritated burns.

Gabriella tried not to notice that her sister was wincing, but her sharp eyes detected everything. She ignored it, for now. "Well, where would you like to go?" Gabriella asked. She figured she should let Emily choose since Gabriella wouldn't be eating anything anyways. Everything tasted the same to her, except firewhiskey.

"The Three Broomsticks, I guess," said Emily. "The food's a trifle better than the Hog's Head." This was true, the place was filthy, so what if they were a lot cheaper? It was better to pay more and not get ill because of poor sanitary conditions.

Gabriella nodded, grimacing a bit. She hadn't been to the Hog's Head in a long while because of how repulsing the whole place was. "Sounds good to me," Gabriella replied with a grin. She began walking over to the pub.

Emily took long strides, easily keeping up with her vampire sister. It was kind of strange to think that her own sister wasn't a human. Gabriella didn't seem vicious and bloodthirsty as her textbooks described. She just seemed like a regular person, only stronger and faster. Emily pulled open the door, it was pleasantly warm inside. There wasn't much one could eat here, pretzels and peanuts. Typical bar-food. Emily didn't mind, she wasn't terribly hungry anyways.

"Bar or table?" Gabriella asked her sister as they walked in to the familiar place. Gabriella liked it here, she could relax and have a firewhiskey or dance at midnight, whatever she felt like doing. She briefly wondered if she should drink firewhiskey around her sister, but decided that Emily probably wouldn't care as long as she only had one.

"How about a table?" said Emily. Sure, you got faster service at the bar, but it wasn't a very private place to hold a conversation. Less people could overhear at a booth. She would force some pretzels down and maybe a butterbeer or two. She liked mead a lot, but her sister probably wouldn't approve of her drinking, even though they lived in England and there was no drinking age.

((OOC: um....I think there is. It's like you can drink in private at any age, but at a bar only when you're 18 or above...something weird like that.))
Gabriella took a seat at the nearest booth, making herself feel a bit more comfortable. "How's this?" she asked Emily, but her sister's response was cut off by the arrival of a waitress. "What can I get you?" the young woman asked. Gabriella looked toward her sister first.

((OOC: I'm not sure, well, this is Hogsmeade... Anything goes!))
Emily noticed her sister nodding toward her, to order first. "How about some pretzels and a nice, large glass of mead?" said Emily. Now that she thought about it, she didn't care what her sister thought. She didn't care what anyone thought of her... Spare for that cute Ravenclaw boy in her Herbology...

Gabriella smiled, nodding at the waitress. "I'll just have a firewhiskey, please," Gabriella replied. The woman took their order and then left to get the things that the two sisters had ordered. "Mead, huh?" Gabriella asked with a sly grin. If only their father could see them now. He would be furious.

"Hey, I have to drink something to help me keep my sanity. Besides, you're drinking firewhiskey." Emily protested. Alcohol wasn't the best thing for her to drink and then go back to work, it would increase her chances of burning herself. She didn't care, it wasn't like she was going to get herself drunk.

"Yes, but I am of age, aren't I?" Gabriella replied with a smile. In an undertone, she added, "And I don't get drunk in the usual sense." The waitress came bustling back over with their drinks and Emily's food and then hurried away once more.

Emily took a sip of mead, the amber-colored liquid was the perfect thickness with just a very light hint of alcohol. It was sweet. She forced down a mouthful of pretzels, she had rather lost her liking for food since she started working around candy all the time. Emily had lost fifteen pounds since taking her job at Honeyduke's.

Gabriella took a sip of her firewhiskey, feeling the familiar sensation as her senses were electrified. She never got tired of that feeling. But now she noticed that Emily seemed to be forcing down her food and that the new job had been taking a toll on her sister. "Do you like your job?" Gabriella asked quietly.

Emily took a moment to think about the question. It was sort of a bittersweet type of thing. On one hand, she lost some weight because after working around food all day, eating was not appealing and the extra cash in her pocket was nice. But then again, she injured herself on a daily basis. "It's bittersweet, has its ups and downs like everything else in the free world." said Emily, then took a sip of mead.
